I’ve been battling acne since I hit puberty a couple of decades ago. As an adult, more serious hormone imbalances have made this condition much worse. I have tried many different products in an attempt to have “normal skin” with little luck. Whenever possible, I try to stick to natural remedies and naturally based products. After reading about the benefits of papaya enzyme in skin problems, I was shocked when I found Nature’s Cure Anti-Acne Papaya Skin Care System at my local Rite Aid Pharmacy.
The price of the Nature Papaya system was about $19.00 and included the cleanser, toner and moisturizer. The first thing I noticed in the bottle opener was the wonderful smell. Fruit, tropical, very appealing. Other than that, it was pretty easy. The cleaning was surprisingly thin and the thickness of the liquid was coffee cream. Nothing seemed to be of much use as I thought it necessary to smile. After washing, my skin was pretty clean, but it didn’t show anything from the routine or show.
The Nature Curator Papaya toner left my skin too sticky. I almost felt like I used sugar water on my skin. This was to be followed with Nature’s Cure Papaya Anti-Acne Moisturizer. What a sloppy mess this was! It didn’t absorb very well and left my skin feeling heavy and greasy. The sticky factor was still there and I found myself running to remove my makeup to get rid of the sticky feeling. The worst part of all of this was that my acne was getting worse. I saw no improvement with the existing blisters and developed a new crop within a day or so. To be mistaken would say it is less.
This led me on a search for a new and improved solution to my acne condition. On the recommendation of a friend, he purchased University Medical’s AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System from Wal-Mart for a whopping price of around $27.00. I’ll admit that I’m hesitant to try the amount of money and I’m not 100% certain that I’ll see the outcome. But I took a leap of faith and leaves the store with an account in hand.
The University Medical AcneFree Intensive system includes an antibacterial cleansing wash, a repairing toner, a maximum strength repair lotion, and a retinol renewal complex. I can’t stress how bad my skin has gotten since I started this regimen. It had progressed to the point that I was embarrassed to leave my house without heavy makeup to cover all the blemishes. I was also starting to feel my overall health was struggling because of the many small infections I had.
The scent of the medicinal compound is medicinal and noticeable. The cleansing wash lathers adequately (although not as much as I prefer) and has some exfoliating properties. After washing it off, my skin felt healthy and clean. I would advise you not to use delightful washes while this is on your face. It is so strong with benzoyl peroxide that it actually stained my washcloth overnight! Now that’s serious work!
Leigh’s careful correction was a nice stimulus to him, who always made me feel like he was working. Then I applied the maximum strength repair lotion, which is a 10% benzoyl peroxide time release. The retinol renewal complex should be used at night and not at the same time as the repair lotion. I noticed that it might bite something, but I didn’t experience anything. After each complete treatment with the products (morning and night) my skin felt medicated…like I had done something to get rid of acne.
Most of the spots within twenty-four hours were reduced and began to heal. We noticed that the area around each of the worst pimples had to start to heal and form new skin. The texture of my skin was completely different, even prompting comments from my husband. Maybe the only one I still have is top oil. I have to use it several times a day to keep this under control by taking oil shots several times. I think mine is a brand that won’t go away. By opening the pores, the oil will be able to flow more easily. The good news is that the acne disappears and that’s all there is to it.
There is no competition between the two. Medical University AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System completely completes the Anti-Acne Papaya Skin Care System. In fact, the Nature system is not even remotely in the same league as the Medical University. system Even though I paid an extra $10.00 for a better system, it was money well spent. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on the Nature Treatment system and used it to be the real winner of this contest. If you have a severe acne problem, you should try the University Medical AcneFree Severe Acne Treatment System. You will be blessed!
