Our third establishment in this review is also a comedy company.

Raleigh’s ‘Town of Idiots’ was founded in 1995 in Motion Art Dance Studio. In 1999 that prompted the Idiots to move to Cary. In March 2002, The Idiots returned to their current location in Raleigh at the Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre. They came back in a group called Mid-Life Crisis. Fortunately, they passed and returned their attention as “Idiot Street Raleigh”.

They, like Comedy Worx, also sponsor workshops to develop new talent for performing arts. The Idiots running team is directed by Matthew Krevat, who trained under Chicago’s City Limits Improv. He drove out a band of five idiots in his ranks.

The schedule for their appearances is best found on the NRACT website. In addition to those who want to get to Improv or Theater, this site has a plethora of offerings.
