GT Xpress 101 Product Review

Well, I fell prey to the infomercial! I had seen Commercial Xpress 101 several times and it looked interesting. I love to cook and George Foreman-grill, which I have used quite a bit. efficient eventually). So, after a few months of discussion, I went to the Xpress 101 site and ordered my machine. First, there is no way to order just one. After all, it comes with 2 devices, the second way you pay for shipping. There is also an upgrade offer for the 4-bedroom model at the same time. Just opted for 2nd unit. This will certainly make a good gift for someone. The order arrived about fifteen days after I placed it online.

When the unit arrived, I was a little surprised at the size. The living rooms looked smaller than they did on TV (but then the camera adds 10 pounds to people, so why didn’t it add to the size of the room?). Also included in the box were: two recipe books, a plastic mixer/beater, a plastic lifting tool, a pocket dough maker, and a flavor injector syringe (complete with a lethal looking needle point!).

After reading these instructions and the recipe booklet, I decided to try Mixed Berry Corn Pancakes. This recipe calls for a box of Jiffy corn muffin mix, eggs, 2 tablespoons of oil, half of the milk. and half a cup of mixed berries. I filled the unit and preheated while allowing everything to be mixed together. Blueberries for fruit I used the plane hash brown mixture into the other. After 8 minutes, I lifted the lid. The omelette looked golden brown, but when I poked it in the middle – it was still very runny. I was careful not to burn, but closed the lid and cooked another 2 minutes. The floating cardamom in this machine allowed the omelet to rise even more. After two minutes – I opened the lid. Omelet tastes the same color, but now fully cooked and very hairy. impressed He needs no time at all, as sometimes at other times.

He also cooks burritos, various types of muffins, and frozen cabbage. I’m really starting to like this machine. This really brings out the creativity.

It is the easiest unit to clean. A damp sponge is all you need. I baked muffins with brown sugar coating, and that’s right off! I find it easier to clean when the unit is still warm, not hot.

The Xpress 101 cable wraps around the bottom and sits on the end for storage. In fact, there is not much space in the toaster, less than a toaster. I would say the advantages of this machine is that you can cook a meal without heating up your kitchen or dirtying any dishes. The recipe book takes you through 100 ideas to try.

The downsides to the machine are its size. It is not good for more than 2 people in a family. And this is why you need to be more careful about the tools you use in it. There are no metal tools you can use to scratch the surface.

I would say in xpress 101 for the perfect couple, in a college dorm, or as a single person. The website indicated that a 4-panel upgrade was available, so that might be an option for larger families. The included recipe book is also very simple to follow, so even a non-cook could easily use this to cook delicious foods! I look forward to many other experiences.
