Wild Guinea Pig Taming

After thousands of years in captivity, the guinea pig species still freely roams around all predators, like fat beasts. Although guinea pigs are curious people, their instincts often make them too timid to be handled. Since they are only a few days old, they can be treated very briefly and gently. This positive experience can make a guinea pig tame fast.

Most people take in guinea pigs when they are at least two months old or (better yet) adopt them as adults from local animal shelters. . These guinea pigs couldn’t handle much and what they did probably wasn’t very nice. These guinea pigs can certainly be tamed, but you have to be very patient.

Wild pig

The last guinea pig I ever got was called a pea. I saw it in a pet store when I was buying supplies for my other piggies and I just couldn’t resist (but I encourage you to take a look before buying animal from the pet store). Someone would handle her or pet her, but I knew this was the only thing she was afraid of. When he got home, the piglet became wild.

At the time, I had a section of my room closed off so that the guinea pigs could run and jump in and out of their cages whenever they wanted. With this freedom, he could not take the eros at all. I wanted to grab her with outstretched arms to jump into the transporter cage so the vet could catch her.

But after a year, the eros was tamed. How did this happen?

To tame them

I might have been able to tame the pea faster if I had worked with it every day. At that time I had two jobs, as wild guinea pigs had to be tamed. But every day I want to talk quietly with all the guinea pigs. How slowly and carefully I would move. I have had many treatments for other guinea pigs who have come to me to take the heat off my hands. That’s a concern.

The secret is to get the guinea pig to come to you. Finally, they wanted to treat them with peanuts. I stayed still and let him come to me. It was hard not to touch and pamper her when she finally took a treat from me, but the reaction would have been startled and I was bird of prey sliding into it.

And then the day came when he came to the baby CARROT and stayed by my side munching away. He gently shook her and accepted her. the wild boar was finally tamed. If the pea can be tamed, then any guinea pig can be tamed.
