If you know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, is a breast cancer survivor, or just have a passion for spreading awareness, you might want to get some breast cancer awareness merchandise. I’ve never been affected by this cancer, and I don’t know anyone who has, but I’ve always felt a strong urge to support this cause and spread awareness for some reason. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, so you may want to shop your merchandise now to support and raise awareness for this cause. Here I will go over the top 5 sites we found for Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise.
1. Pink Ribbon Shop
This site is run by a woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of thirty-two. You can read that story on the site, but it was hard to find a business with a pink ribbon to spread awareness. The site donates some to organizations that also help breast cancer. A huge variety of pink ribbon merchandise is available through this site including cell phone accessories, wristbands, car magnets, candles, and more. The site is easy to search with a category list in the left hand section that separates all the stuff you have so you can browse everything to find what you’re looking for. On the right side of the page is the Featured Products column which is nice because you might want to see something you’re not looking for. My favorite item on this site is this Crystal Necklace Awareness Ribbon that costs around $25.
2. She Think Pink Foundation
He thinks Pink was founded by a woman who lost her 21-year-old son to breast cancer. After losing his job he wanted to do something to raise awareness of his daughter’s cancer. This is where Rose thinks from. This site is set up a little differently. On the right side of the page you will find links to sites about breast cancer, Locks of Love, Chemo Angels, and other informative information. On the right side of the page you will find different types of merchandise available, including gifts, pins, bears and clothing. My favorite product on this site is this t-shirt that says Fight Like a Girl and has a pink ribbon on it. The risk is about $17.
3. Shop Komen
This site is part of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure arrangement and your 25% purchase will support Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the fight against breast cancer. This is probably the most well-known foundation for breast cancer, but for some reason I never read the history of this foundation before and after I finally visited this site. It brought tears to my eyes. If you would like to read about Susan’s battle with breast cancer, go here. This site is very well placed with women’s clothing, family clothing, New Balance, accessories, home office, premium products, and even educational materials. There is also an item that flashes across the main page so you can see some of the items that are available. The product I like on this site is the t-shirt for men. You can print it out, and it will cost around $22.
4. Save Ta-tas
This site has a catchy slogan Keep Ta-tas believing laughter heals and was started by a woman who had two family members affected by cancer. A portion of every sale goes to the fight against breast cancer. The main page has different categories listed such as her, kids, men, sales, accessories and fun stuff, and boob lube. This site definitely makes you laugh at different things, but the point is pretty much the same. My favorite item on here is a button that says Caught you lookin’ at my ta-tas and has a ribbon on it. You can buy this pin for $1.75 or order it in a 3 pack for $3.99.
5. Breast Cancer Site
This site is great because you can visit this site every day, click a button, and sponsors will pay for a mammogram for someone. Each item that you purchase for money also provides a mammogram so that no one misses you shopping or just visiting this site. This site has a wide variety of products available and also has sale items at different times. The product that I like the most on this site is the vivid pink, Love, Ride water bottle this is about $17.
All these sites have great Breast Cancer Awareness awards for you to choose from. Wear your pink and spread awareness for breast cancer!
