If you want a romantic mid-week or weekend getaway, be sure to stop by Mt Porto Resort, located in Milford, PA (Pocono Mountains). My husband and I have visited Confluence many times and have never been disappointed. Mid-week is the best deal; around 130.00 a night you will have one splendid dress, cottage or villa plus breakfast and dinner. Naturally, the salary is higher.
The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean; a double bed, a fireplace and a view of the jacuzzi. Of course there is a bathroom, plus a TV, VCR and clock. From the front desk you can see these videos for free, not your top ten list, but I’m sure it’s something to find you could
What is nice to watch about this thing is that you can add different options in your price, such as a bottle of wine, a cold bottle of champagne or a bar at dinner (drinks not included at lunch) so if you have in mind a few extras, the open bar on your tab would be useful. We also added champagne and our open bar tab and it was well worth it. We didn’t even pack our bags and knocked on the door, waiting outside for 2 glasses and a bottle of champagne on ice. A nice added touch to our age in jacuzzis.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic; we found all the staff friendly and very accommodating over all our stays. Your meal, which is included in the price, consists of all you can eat salads, bars, and pasta, which is cooked right in front of you. We tasted the alfredo pasta and sauces, and the meat sauce was so awesome. They offer a full menu, offering a choice of any entree. There are a lot of choices on their menu, the filet mignon and the stuffed lobster tail were both done to perfection.
For sure you will have no problem finding to your taste to complete the jewels, whatever you like I guarantee you will love. Save room for 10th choice ice cream, you’ll have frozen yogurt or cake.
A full breakfast is also included in the morning; french toast made to order. Again, both my husband and I were very pleased with our breakfast.
The dining room has a small bar attached with chairs and tables. I’m not sure about the exact time, they don’t really have an hour, I believe the crowd decides if they will stay later or just before.
