Renaissance Fairs in Connecticut

ISD Renaissance Festival – Located approximately 5 miles west of Stamford in Riverside, Connecticut at the International School of Dundee. This fair will be held June 9th from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Parking will be free. Tickets will be $12 for adults, $8 for kids ages 5 – 12, and free for children ages 4 and under. All children tickets receive $2 in game tokens. Those who wish to dress in period costume will not be allowed to carry weapons. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. Visitors will delight in thrilling jousting, a fascinating living chessboard, exciting sword fights and lessons, engaging music, and more. Somers Shakespearean Renaissance Festival – Located approximately 26 miles northeast of Hartford in Somers, Connecticut. This fair will be held June 16th – 17th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Parking will be free. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $11 for seniors ages 65 and older and kids ages 6 – 16, and free for children ages 5 and under. Those wishing to dress up will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Thrilling fire-eating, enchanting music, amazing feats of strength and more will entertain visitors while merchants offer handcrafted items and food and beverages. Southern Connecticut Renaissance Festival – Located approximately 46 miles south of Hartford in Ansonia, Connecticut at Warsaw Park. This fair will be held every Friday – Sunday from July 6th – 22nd. The hours of operation will be 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Fridays, 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sunday. There will be reduced admission prices after 6:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Ticket prices will be $15 for adults all day and $10 evening only, and $8 for children and seniors all day and $5 evening only. Those who choose to dress in period clothing will need to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. Knights will engage in thrilling jousts, musicians will entertain with beautiful melodies, skilled magicians will provide great shows, and hilarious comedians will supply side-splitting laughter. Connecticut Renaissance Faire – Located approximately 22 miles east of Hartford in Hebron, Connecticut. This fair will be held weekends and Columbus Day September 29th – October 21st from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm. Ticket prices will be $15 for adults, $6 for kids ages 5 – 12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Those wishing to dress up will be required to keep weapons sheathed and peace-tied. No alcohol will be sold or permitted. Special features include a School Day on Monday October 1st from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, Free Kids Day when children ages 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian, a Pirate Weekend and a Masquerade Weekend.
