Sag Harbor is a village in Suffolk County, New York. It is on the South Shore of Long Island right in between East Hampton and Southampton. The Village of Sag Harbor was founded in 1707 and has played an important part in American History, both in the Revolutionary War, when it was occupied by the British and used as a supply depot. And as a major sea port for the whaling industry.
Today Sag Harbor is a village of less than 3,000 residents, and is a nice, peaceful place to live or visit. Sag Harbor is easy to reach Just take the LIE(95) to the Montak Highway and follow the signs.
Just because Sag Harbor is small does not mean there is not a lot to do and see. And Sag Harbor is a perfect place to stay if you are going to tour the Long Island Wineries, they are just minutes away and a great way to spend a day or two. And the beaches, don’t for get the beaches. You get a choice of ocean or bay side. Great restaurants are by the beaches also.

If you are coming by boat, the yacht club is one of the marinas located in Sag Harbor and is a great place to dock. They have dockage for both power and sail, can do yacht repairs will arrange bike and car rentals.
