Now that July is almost over, I have about four months to get my Christmas shopping out of the way. One of the places I’m sure to be visiting is the Premium Outlet mall in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin.
Located at 575 W. Linmar Lane, the Premium Outlet mall has been an annual pilgrimage for my wife and me because we know we can save plenty of money at the 60 outlet stores they host. Those stores include Gap, Lane Bryant, Maurice’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Carter’s, KB Toys, Zales Jewelers and Bath & Body Works.
My wife and I first started going to the Premium Outlet mall a couple of years ago, shortly after our daughter was born. It was November, our daughter’s first Christmas was a month away and money was tight. So, I figured the 40 minute drive would be worth it even if it meant us saving a few dollars. When we started looking at the stores, we were amazed at the bargains we were able to find. In fact, we went there intending on only buying presents for our daughter and we wound up having enough money leftover in our budget to buy presents for each other and our extended family as well.
In fact, we’ve given some thought to making it a monthly pilgrimage rather than just an annual one for our Christmas shopping. We just bought a new house less than a year ago and we’re slowly trying to make it look more like our home. It’s getting more and more expensive to buy the items we need for it here and I know places like Corningware Cornelle Revere and the Kitchen Collection have a lot of the stuff we’re looking for at very reasonable prices. I can’t remember the names of them, but I do remember a couple of stores there that sold linens and furniture too that I think I wouldn’t mind revisiting. I noticed when I checked out their Web site, that they now offer a VIP club for frequent shoppers. That’s something I’m probably going to investigate further. The mall also has plenty of near-by hotels so maybe we’ll just take a weekend getaway there so we don’t have to rush through our shopping.
With everything getting so expensive lately, I’m glad there are places like Johnson Creek’s Premium Outlet mall that still can give people high quality items at a good price. If you’re ever in the area, I would suggest visiting it. In fact, if you’re looking to do your Christmas shopping, you may want to consider making a pilgrimage too.
