I love great Mexican food. I am always on the look out for a tasty Mexican treat. I found Jose Ole shredded beef chimichangas in the frozen dinner section of my local grocery store. This product caught my eye. The picture on the front of the package looked delicious. I decided to try this product out and see if it really tasted as good as it looked.
Jose Ole shredded beef chimichangas are a bargain. I found this product on sale, at my local grocery store. They were advertising three beef chimichangas for two dollars. Normally, this product costs one dollar for one chimichanga. Still, that is a great deal. The packaging made this product look very good to me. The picture on the front of this package showed what was actually inside the chimichanga. This is important, if you are not too familiar with Mexican food or it’s contents and what the various names mean. The picture showed shredded beef, cheese and bell peppers, inside of a pastry type tortilla. I knew what I was buying, by looking at the picture. I found that to be a good thing.
The preparation of this product is very easy. It takes less than two minutes in the microwave. You can also oven bake this product. It will take you twenty minutes to cook it that way. I tried the microwave and found that it was quick, easy and left no mess. The first thing that I noticed, after cooking this product was the great smell. No kidding, it smelled authentic and very good. The Mexican seasoning was obviously very good, since the smell was wonderful. When I tasted this product, I was really impressed. The beef was great, the cheese and peppers were wonderful and everything was cooked perfectly even throughout the chimichanga. I found the pastry type tortilla to be flaky, tender and good. The seasonings tasted authentic. There was so much beef inside of this chimichanga!
Jose Ole shredded beef chimichangas have shredded beef, real cheeses, crushed tomatoes, green bell peppers, crushed red pepper and onions, along with many other fine ingredients. This product is a good source of Vitamin C, calcium and iron. The chimichangas are large and filling. They are hearty. I served this product with some refried beans, salsa and tortilla chips. It really made an excellent meal and after serving this product another time, I found that it goes well with Spanish rice, also. I had one by itself, another time and it was great, alone.
Jose Ole shredded beef chimichangas are made by Windsor Foods located in Houston, Texas. I am familiar with Jose Ole products and find them to be high quality products. This company put thought into this product and I can tell and appreciated the effort. This product pleased me. I am very glad that I tried these delicious chimichangas and will be buying them again. For a frozen product, I found the taste and flavor of these great chimichangas to well worth the money that I spent. These chimichangas do not taste frozen and are really good. Jose Ole has an advertisement for this product that states “taste the fiesta” and I did. I enjoyed it.
