Metal Ice Tray Mini Desserts

Ice skates have come a long way over the years, haven’t they? We’ve seen them go from the old, metal types to the plastic ones – even ones that fill like hot water bottles. Ice is a staple for most people but the old, metal ice makers are not. More than likely you removed them a long time ago, but if you happen to have saved some of them, you have all you need to make a great little dessert and nothing else.

When people think of old-fashioned ice cream cones, they usually don’t think of bakery desserts. But, metal can be baked, that is, metal ice trays can be used as pans. The old ice shovels have a metal handle that you can pull off to break up the cubes. This handle is connected to a grid section that creates individual ice cubes.
