I’ve never seen any wooden table that didn’t remind me of everyone’s grandmother’s bases. The stuff in our new apartment makes me feel like I’m 30 and living with Nana Ross again. This just keeps wasting my day. Unfortunately, we don’t have the money to tear out the miserable stuff and start anew. But I spent hours looking at these ugly walls, thinking of ways to cover the floors and gradually bring the food back into the room.
To paint
A coat of paint can go a long way to making a dreary, wooden room look like an otherwise cheerful room. White is a great color to make you forget that the floor was there. I thought of keeping the eggshell living room from looking at the clinic.
The problem of painting is complicated. This stuff can be tricky. First you will have sand. You only need enough sand to take the shine off the wood flooring, but a lot of elbow grease. You have sand floors and low gaps between the floors. That means a lot of work has to be done by hand. And while you’re at it, look out for any holes in the picture frame, teeth or hooks, which you’ll need to fill with wood before you proceed.
Then there is the picture itself. You can get away with using a quality paint roller on wooden boards. But you need to use a paint brush to get those desires. It’s more work. But you can use the opportunity to create a cool striped pattern and paint the panels one color and cast a different one. . You will have to wait for the paint to dry and protect the panels with painter’s tape to get in the desired effect. You will need a base coat plus at least two coats roofs to cover the grain.

You can cover wood flooring with film if you know how to get around it. The trick is to use a heavier quality paper that won’t puncture the depressions as soon as you brush against it. Another trick is to lightly sand the floor, then wash it off with TSP powder. It is recommended to add any lot of water to the package. Then the walls Do not wash off the TSP powder inside. Gives something to stick to the wallpaper.
After the walls are prepared, as in the walls they are hung horizontally to avoid getting caught in any depression. It’s an easy enough job, I’d just like the model to be printed with the film enough to think of an upgrade from the board. But if you do not consider a special arrangement of wallpaper, you can paint a specially designed picture. You can do all the prep work of a regular paint job and skip the streaks all at once.

Oh how I love the path of least resistance. A great way to cover wood floors is with a huge image. I’m talking about a mural of some size. If you can’t settle on one of those honkers, there are several options. You can buy a huge canvas and paint yourself. If you’re not crafty, but handy enough, make a fabric out of 2-by-4s. Then cross the lines of the fabric. Staple the ends of the fabric to the back of the frame with upholstery staples. If you are not skilled or skilled, look at the adventures. Install a few rods then just hang that baby up there and you’re done.
Bits
Bigger is always better. This bar around the corner from my house has “vinyl nights” every Monday. You bring your favorite record and the minister plays on the A-side, then the bar gets a vote on whether to listen to the B-side or not. It is terrible. I have now amassed quite a collection of memorabilia and art.
Instead of hanging on the fences, I’m thinking of covering the wall in them. I know of a hardware store who will sell me many plates at a pretty good price. If I put them in a grid, about 2-inches apart, this is going to look pretty awesome. Everyone will be too busy looking at my collection of comments to notice the ugly wood floors.
My advice
I’m thinking of going with murals and in one will go on the wall and in the other three painted tables. If you want to use any of these ideas to cover your wood floor, drop me a note in the comments. I love the pictures!
