I have been using Secret Deodorant Solids for the past fifteen years so I was very excited to give my sensitive skin the opportunity to try the new Secret Strength Deodorant. As a mom, I work and sweat like hard. Secret Deodorant will always be my go to brand because it keeps my arms dry and smelly. I usually apply it twice a day, once in the morning and again in the late afternoon, with added protection.
In order to write this review, I first had to evaluate how normal deodorants worked. I use the Concealed Shower Fresh Scent Deodorant Solid because I love the smell and I don’t look for any offensive scents on a regular basis. I put deodorant on after I get dressed so I don’t get white marks on my shirts when I pull them over my head. I also noticed my underarm dryness and odor.
How to use Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant for Sensitive Skin
The instructions stated that Secret Clinical Deodorant should be applied at night before bed to “check your natural body temperature /a> variations. If in the morning The spray made a difference in how the deodorant worked.
The Secret Strength of Clinical Deodorant Cream is more than solid. Cista claims it is ‘solid advanced’. Yes, the deodorant is applied with a click and the thick cream comes out through the four holes at the top. Two clicks are about all it takes to get enough solids for each underarm.
One day
My day started at 6:15 am. I picked up my kids at school, fed them breakfast, and took them to the station. I wasn’t in the shower that morning because I was planning to paint my son’s room that day, but I wanted to try a new deodorant after a shower and before a hot day. I made sure to stop myself from re-applying Secret Strength Deodorant Deodorant after I got up from my morning shower.
I spent the next five hours painting the room, going up and down the stairs, and moving the furniture. I then spent the next hour restocking my painting supplies and replacing the bed, binder and bookshelf. I usually reapply my deodorant before the kids get home from school because once they are at home we have our homework schedule. then whatever works proceed that evening. Again I stopped myself from putting on the deodorant. This evening we went to Taekwondo, came home and had dinner, then had a Cub Scout meeting at our local lake. recycling center
I showered in the evening and applied Clinical Secrets Deodorant before bedtime.
Day 1 Results: I have to admit that my underarms felt drier with Secret Clinical Strength than they usually do with Secret Solid Deodorant. There was no smell at all, nor was there supposed to be a smell of light, even though I had been warmed up all day. There were no white marks on my clothes or on my arms.
Day Two
As the school treats PTU in fun day school in winter. I wanted to help myself with Cosmic Bingo that morning. If you don’t know what Cosmic Bingo is you really need to try it. Kids play bingo with black lights and everything glows white or neon. I was in charge of helping first, second, and third graders play bingo in the dark. The last twenty minutes of funeral day was a dance party. The morning was great and warm. And so I did in my shirt burning with sweat.
Day Two Results: Now I usually have a dry feeling under my arms. I guess there’s always been some humor there that’s almost completely gone now. Again, there was no smell. I applied Clinical Strength Secrets before bed that night.
Day Three
My day started the same as day one with getting my kids ready for school. Then I went to the grocery and did my normal mom running around. I came home at two in the afternoon and applied Secret Strength Deodorant because I have to take a nap before going to work. I slept for about three hours before the night nurse came in at twelve o’clock. It was a pretty good night’s exercise where I was running around and starting to sweat a few times. I noticed the smell of deodorant when I was sweating.
Day Three Results: Again, my underarms were drier than when I use my normal Secret Deodorant. There was also no odor or white residue the next morning. I put Secret Strength Deodorant back on before bed in the morning.
Overall results
Clinical Strength Secret for Sensitive Skin does exactly what it claims. Keeps underarms drier than regular solid deodorant. There was no white residue on my skin or clothes. I only noticed the smell of deodorant when I was really sweaty. Another quick check of the site explains that odor-fighting capsules work when sweat is present, absorbing the odor and releasing the odor as needed. My experience has been that this product does what it says it does.
