Spring is Here!
Bursting forth from a long winter’s nap.
Trees budding, dripping sap.
Earth’s soil warm to the touch.
Crumbly and clinging as such.
Sparrows dancing to the mating call.
Birds nests made out of straw.
Budding flowers peek their heads.
After lying dormant in their beds.
Weeds growing at a pace.
As if they were in some kind of race.
Smells of nature all around.
Listening to melodic sounds.
Soft rain showers come and go.
God’s way of making things grow.
Life awakening from deep sleep.
A time to sow, a time to reap.
