To me, donuts are a food item that I can eat at anytime of the day or night. When I purchase various types and brands of donuts at food retailers, more often than not, I tend to purchase mini donuts. Quite often, I like to eat Hostess brand Crumb – flavored Donettes mini donuts. Two nights ago, while at a Hartford, Connecticut convenience store, I happened to notice a new flavor of Little Debbie brand mini donuts on sale. The type of donuts that I am referring to are Little Debbie brand Coconut Crunch mini donuts.

As soon as I saw this new type of Little Debbie brand mini donuts, I couldn’t help but think of Hostess brand Crumb – flavored Donettes mini donuts. I think that both of these varieties of mini donuts closely resemble each other in size and appearance. After purchasing and eating one 3.25 ounce package of Little Debbie brand Coconut Crunch Mini Donuts, I definitely noticed several similarities and differences between the two products. These two brands of donuts are quite similar, yet they are also different in some ways. At any rate, both of these brands of mini donuts are recomended by this food writer.
