Queens is a city in and of itself , while still a part of New York Cirt. It has its own personality and charm and you will enjoy making Queens a part of your New York trip.
If you are coming to The Big Apple, for business or pleasure, you must try to see more than Manhattan. Queens has some of the finest restaurants, not only in New York, but anywhere else for that matter. And the prices won’t break the bank either. Queens is just minutes from Manhattan either by car or subway and all of theses are easy to reach. The prices mentioned here are in effect now, but may change. They are just to give you a general idea of what is available.

Dee’ has been a great local Queens favorite restaurant since 1993. The brick over pizza is great, better by far than the pizza we are used to from commercial ovens. It has a homey atmosphere, friendly service and great food. Dress is casual and it is right across Metropolitan Avenue from Cinamart Move Theater, making it a great place to eat either before or after the show. And if you are in to antiquing, Metropolitan Avenue has many great Antique Shops. It is a great restaurant for the family. They have a special kids menu. Be sure to check with them regaurding their weekly specials. Here are some items from their menu to give you a general idea of what they have.

Water’ Edge will be one of the greatest dining experiences you will ever have. The staff is attentive and friendly. And very professional. If you come for lunch, there is a park right next to the restaurant where you can sit and watch the boats on the river, and in the evening watch Manhattan light up. The views from inside are just as spectacular. If you are coming from Manhattan, you can really arrive in style aboard their River Boat. This service leaves from 34th Street and the East River, adjacent to the heliport. If you are in the mood for something really special, the River Boat has Dinner /Dance Cruises on the last Friday of every month during the summer.

Park Side is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. Do call for reservations just to make sure. They are extremely popular and fill up fast. They do have valet parking. You can eat inside, or in the glass inclosed garden room or up stairs in the Marilyn Monroe room.
Take a look at the pictures as you walk in and see some of the famous New Yorkers you might end up dining with. The staff is very professional. Hint, try the house wine It is delicious. Here are some more hints from their dinner menu. Don’t forget to ask the waiter for the daily specials.
