When a movie is a major success others not involved with the film want to cash in regardless. Often times straight to DVD flicks will copy the art of a film and make their case look similar or make an inferior film with a similar title. Aside from people using this technique in the straight to DVD mainstream movies department, the same methods are used for pornography. A recent example of this was the reediting of a porno called “Pirates“. The movie was released with the hardcore scenes cut out to garner an ‘R” rating and then given cover art to match the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I have heard many tales of unsuspecting people picking up the film and being shocked that they were actually seeing a porno with the naughtier bits cut out. The practice of pornography reflecting the titles of mainstream films at times has hilarious results. Here is a list of some of the funnier offerings to come out of the wetter side of Hollywood.
On Golden Blonde a film about a woman who dies, goes to Heaven, and then is sent back to Earth in a series of other bodies; all blondes. This title stars Ginger Lynn Allen, Christy Canyon, Gina Carrera, and Peter North amongst others.
Forrest Hump, Foreskin Gump, and Sorest Rump all took their inspiration from the Tom Hanks epic Forrest Gump.
Pocahotass would have been a damaging rental mistake if a parent were trying to pick up a certain Disney Indian cartoon. However, I am guessing it would not be a mistake easily made. The Loin King and Sleeping Booty both also took Disney like names making the old legend that dirty pictures were added to the cover of The Little Mermaid movie or bad words laced in The Lion King look like clean, wholesome family material.
The Sperminator was released one year after the successful James Cameron film The Terminator; Terminator 1984, Sperminator 1985.
White Men Can’t Hump took advantage of the White Men Can’t Jump basketball film the same year it was released.
You’ve Got Male failed to capture the same romance as You’ve Got Mail, however I’m sure it steamed up some people’s television screens.
Snatch Adams takes red clown noses and doctor play to a different level than Patch Adams with Robin Williams.
Edward Penishands is one of the funniest in my opinion, with a plot outline that reads: “A door-to-door dildo saleswoman stumbles across Edward, and upon discovering the…advantages of his hand-substitutes, brings him home, where he falls in love with her daughter.” Directing this time was done by Paul Norman not Tim Burton.
Poonies followed up the hit family adventure Goonies in 1985, though the kids were probably sent to bed before it was aired.
I Know Who You Did Last Summer mocks a horror film, but it is a toss up as to which film is more horrible. Now which title is I Know What You Did Up the Bummer ripping off?
A Few Hard Men doesn’t share the plot of the Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson film A Few Good Men, but rather is a two hour work of man-on-man gay action.
The Wild Wild Chest series and Wild Wild Breasts films may actually be better than the Wil Smith box office failure Wild Wild West.
Batman in Robin can be expected to be a slightly different experience than the action packed superhero series title released mainstream. Of course the differences between Batman In Robin and Buttman Forever are a bit more subtle.
Riding Miss Daisy did not have a role offered to Morgan Freeman.
Interview With A Vibrator is a bit different than Interview With A Vampire, featuring a story line about a talking and living vibrator that has been abandoned by everyone it loved.
Field of Wet Dreams features a sport other than baseball.
A Clockwork Orgy stars a gang of ladies cleaning the streets of perverts, but then again what is defined as perverse may come into question considering the actions taken.
Glad-He-Ate-Her, surely you’ve heard of this one. No? Okay, Russell Crowe spoof not your thing? How about the classic Bonfire of the Panties?
The Missionary Position Impossible series doesn’t exactly teach spy techniques, though the stunt work may impress you.
Pornocchio was an attempt to make things other than the nose grow.
Miracle on 69th Street is a timeless Christmas story.
The Maddams Family – they’re creepy and they’re horny!
Boneheads is a take on Coneheads that looks so funny it is scary.
Boyz From Da Hood is the epic homosexual gangster flick. You might confuse the title with the Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ice Cube movie, but not the cover art.
The list of knock-off titles truly goes on and on. If you find such things humorous and have a bit of an adult sense of humor then you can mix your erotica with laughs by doing a Google search of funny porno titles. You’re certain to be exposed to a new film experience when comparing these adult titles to the original hits they mock, whether you are checking out Indiana Joan and the Temple of Poon, Mad Jack: Beyond Thunderbone, Saturday Night Beaver, Sexcaliber, or The Rodfather.
