WWE Elimination Chamber was the pay-per-view held last night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. Here are the results and highlights of the show.
Match 1: Elimination Chamber for the WWE Title: Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. Ted Dibiase vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H vs. Kofi Kingston. Sheamus and Kofi start the match. Triple H is the first entrant. Randy Orton is the second entrant. Ted Dibiase is the third entrant. John Cena is the final entrant. Legacy are working together to start off, then Cody Rhodes slides a pipe into the chamber. Dibiase accidentally hits Orton and then hits Cena. Dibiase then pins Orton, so Orton is the first elimination. Dibiase is the second elimination, as he is pinned by Kofi. Kofi is the third elimination after being pinned by Sheamus. Sheamus is then eliminated by Triple H by pinfall. Cena and Triple H are the final two. Cena wins by making Triple H tap out to the STF. Winner and New WWE Champion: John Cena
As soon as Cena is given the title, Vince McMahon comes to the ring. He congratulates Cena and says Cena is going to WrestleMania as long as he can defend his championship right now.
Match 2: WWE Title Match: Batista vs. John Cena. Batista wins after he hits the spear and the Batista Bomb. Winner and new WWE Champion: Batista.
Match 3: WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Kane. McIntyre wins after connecting with the underhook DDT. Winner: Drew McIntyre.
The next match is supposed to be Gail Kim vs. Maryse. However, as they are about to start the match, Vickie Guerrero comes out and changes the match to an interpromotion tag team match.
Match 4: Michelle McCool & Layla vs. Maryse & Gail Kim: The Smackdown divas win when McCool pins Gail Kim. Winners: Layla and Michelle McCool.
Backstage, Miz talks about NXT and Daniel Bryan.
In ring, William Regal talks about NXT. Edge interrupts. Before leaving, Edge spears Regal.
Match 5: WWE United States Title Match: Miz vs. MVP. Miz wins after Big Show hits the knockout punch on MVP while the ref was distracted. Winner: The Miz
Match 6: Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Title: Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho. CM Punk and R-Truth start the match. Punk eliminates Truth after the GTS. Mysterio is the first entrant into the match. Mysterio eliminates Punk. Jericho is the second entrant. Morrison is the third entrant. Morrison eliminates Mysterio. Undertaker is the final entrant. Undertaker eliminates Morrison. Undertaker is about to eliminate Jericho when Shawn Michaels comes out from under the ring and hits Sweet Chin Music on Undertaker. Jericho pins Undertaker. Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho.
The pay-per-view ends with Shawn Michaels standing over the Undertaker and just staring at him.
