The types of animals you will see here are tigers, elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, parrots, flamingos, alligators, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, muskrats, and the list goes on and on. The fifth greatest zoo to visit in the United States is “York’s Wild Animal Kingdom,” and it is located in York Beach, Maine right on the ocean. This zoo is open from the month of May until the end of October from 10 am until 5 pm and the prices to get into the zoo are fourteen dollars for adults and nine dollars for children. This zoo is one of the largest zoos in New England to visit and is home to over one hundred wild animals from all other the world. The types of animals you will see here are baby black and brown bears, polar bears, sea turtles, lions, kangaroos, prairie dogs, donkeys, deer, goats, bunnies, parrots, fish, snakes, zebras, and the list goes on. One of the coolest exhibits to check out at York’s Wild Animal Kingdom is the butterfly farm exhibit because it is home to over one hundred different butterfly species. This is also a great zoo to feed, touch, and see the animals perform little funny shows. York’s Wild Kingdom is a really great zoo to visit if you have many little ones who enjoy interacting with animals.
