This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night to keep and do all that is written in it, then you shall direct your way and then it shall be well with you.
The Book of the Law is the Holy Bible, the Word of God to us. The Holy Scriptures say that we place the Word of God in our hearts (Psalm 119:11). It is in the scriptures of the Bible where we know Jesus Christ (John 5: 39).
The word will not depart from your mouth
This biblical verse tells us that the book of the Law, the Holy Bible, shall not depart from our mouth. The Holy Scriptures are engraved on our hearts, so that they are a common part of our daily prayer. The ability to speak the Word becomes normal when the Holy Scriptures penetrate our daily thinking.
You will meditate day and night
Study to prove yourself (1 Timothy 2:15 DouayRheims). “The word meditating in this Bible verse means to meditate or ponder books. We live in an age when the majority profess that he is a Christian, yet many do not fully understand what the Scriptures say about the Creator.
Watch how to do everything
This part of this Bible verse gets us into trouble. We tend to “cherry” the Holy Scriptures. We choose the ones we love and discard the ones we don’t. This Bible verse commands us to do all of God’s Word. We can listen to the Holy Scriptures quite easily. Doing the word is much harder, especially when it requires personal sacrifice. One biblical verse teaches that we deceive ourselves if we hear the Word and do not do it (James 1:22).
Prosperity and Happiness
This verse of the Bible ends with a promise: “For then you will direct your way.” The road means the whole course of our life. If the Holy Scriptures become our speech, with daily study, and we are obedient to them, the whole course of our life will be successful.
The promise of this Bible verse ends with “then you will have good success”. Prosperity means understanding, wisdom and intelligence. As we place each Bible verse deeply in our hearts, the Holy Scriptures have the ability to impart understanding, wisdom and understanding.
Conclusion of the material
We must enter the sacred scriptures daily. Studies of both Bibles verse. Consider each verse. Place the holy scriptures in our hearts. Let the Holy Scriptures be a daily prayer. We must obey the Word of God. Not just parts of the cherry-picked verses, but obeying all of the Bible Scriptures. God gives us a promise that if we do it, our lives will prosper, and our understanding will be opened to wisdom and understanding.
We attend schools to earn degrees and teachers. But the only knowledge we take with us when we leave this life is who and what God is. This knowledge is readily available in the Book of the Law, the Holy Bible of God. Jesus said, “Search the Scriptures, they bear witness about me” (John 5:39).
