Collecting Troll Dolls

 

It was in the 1960s when collecting trolls first became popular. But, today there are still collectors looking for funny looking rubber critters.

The first to troll were Dam Rerum in Denmark. Thomas Dam was the first to carve wooden trolls for objects and people they liked. Due to the excessive desire of more trolls, the Troll family began to make stuffed wooden figures of the helper. She was wearing some maid clothes. Some had real curly hair. They were all fun to look at and collect.

In 1964 trolls began to be sold in Great Britain. Figures are given in the footer. Sometimes these characters are given.
Soon the figures became popular in the United States. Then various manufacturers began to produce collectible trolls.

People around the world collect them. They are still sold on eBay for anything from $1 hundred to $20,000 a mile. The rarity of the piece is important.

The best things are always new in the box. Condition is very important. It should be a whole lot of chocolate. The usual color is not important. Clothes should not be torn. Also, any accessories that come with it need to be with it. The price will drop dramatically with damage. Old ones are often worth more.

You can’t get what a troll is worth in this economy. You may have to wait a year or two, but if you love critters, that shouldn’t be a problem.

A few other trolls from the Dam were eating at the show, which look like animals like giraffes or lions. These are valued at around $100 in perfect condition.

Other rare trolls to watch out for are made for countries or states like Alaska. Some cool Eskimo outfits and such.

There are also some rare trolls with two heads.

If you’re starting a collection or looking to add to yours, your best bet is buying a lot on eBay /a>. You can often get a starter for less than $25. Of course, thrift sales are good research and thrift stores. Also notice on Craig’s list if you are looking for a good amount of dollars.

Collect all the items you want to collect. That is the most important thing. Collecting fun is very expensive. In time, the dear may be missed more by the individual. If so, you will also meet some of them.
