Golf Attire for the Plus-Size Woman – What is Acceptable, What is Not Acceptable

Most golf apparel is made and designed for smaller women. I am a plus-size woman who is passionate about golfing; but I had trouble finding golf suits. When playing at the local municipal course, I simply put on a pair of athletic pants and a t-shirt and I’m ready to go. However, he does not like this attitude of being decorated in the background or of a private football game. Although the requirements may vary from different clubs, there is a certain dress code accepted.

Not acceptable:
1. No denim of any kind is accepted. > This includes colored pants and vests and denim jackets.

2. They don’t really have short shorts or skorts. Which may sound funny as this is written for plus-size women. but I do not want to assume anything. Most clubs ask that women’s pants or pants be just above or below the knees.

3. No tight shirts. If you are playing a very casual course, you can wear a hat. A tee shirt, but nothing more upscale.

4. No sweats or athletic pants. I will often wear a pair of drawstring athletic pants. shirt and matching my shirts in the municipality of course. Although these are well-coordinated and really beautiful, this is not considered acceptable golf attire. Great for a size 8, but Dockers aren’t always a comfortable fit for a plus-size woman. Instead of Dockers, I typically go with a pair of classic-fit (like men’s pants) stretch slacks or a pair of crepe pants or slacks. This option is so nice and comfortable for the fuller-figured woman.

2. A good pair of shorts, skorts/shorts or tops. Like a plus-size woman, you are. These big thighs will never catch on. Female goats are also unattractive with older calves. That said, a pair of Bermuda shorts are a significantly great choice for the plus size woman. Also, the skirts are longer and flattering. Make sure you choose a comfortable and non-restrictive fabric (and remember denim or T-shirt type material is not acceptable). made of cotton) was accepted. You can wear sleeveless or short-sleeved polo shirts under a long-sleeved sport or shirt. It is also acceptable to wear a woolen shirt (with or without a collar) over a collared shirt.

4. An appropriate golf dress should be straight (you don’t want the wind blowing your dress), knee length (or slightly longer) and made from a manageable and flexible material like cotton. One of my favorites is the jersey style polo or shirt. Some women can use a pair of bike-style shorts under their clothes for more confidence.

5. Wind jackets, coats, jackets or sweaters. Because the weather can change quickly. Of course, it is best to dress in layers. Fleece pullovers, cardigan sweaters and windy jackets are great for those chilly days on the run.

Additionally, plus-size women tend to wear some larger clothing. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can affect your game. Instead, choose clothing that is tight but comfortable. When considering whether or not an outfit is acceptable, we usually think about whether it can be worn in a club or a restaurant.
