How to paint Ants

1. Before you start painting Ants, you need to collect the materials listed above and run the surface. This should go without saying but remember to clean the surface before proceeding.

2. Countertops are very light, and like most plastic surfaces, they are difficult to paint. First you sand the surface with fine sandpaper. This step cannot be omitted, as it is necessary to make the material striated and rough so that the paint adheres.

3. After sanding Antica countertops you will need to get all the dust off the surface, you can do that with either a shop vac or even a powerful handel vacuum . After removing the bulk of the powder, proceed to use a damp cloth with a mild cleaning liquid to clean the surface. You don’t want to use too much water so that the wet cloth sticks instead of wet.

4. Use painters tape to tape any area you don’t want to paint; This step is optional, but highly recommended as one mistake can ruin the look of the surface.

5. Priming a Formica countertop is an option, and unfortunately, if you use a primer, you can’t level the sandal. Use primer as Killz primer for best results; Primer paint will help the stick and make it less likely to scratch or crack, although you can get away with skipping this step if you like. You want to use it like you would use primers for painting; i.e. not oil first and latex paint.

6. Paint- You have options in the actual painting job, I will put the options with which will be the longest and which will be the easiest to apply. A can spray paint, Rustoleum or Krylon brand spray paint for the Formic surface; however, they come in a variety of textures as well and can be found in almost all hardware. Spray painting is the easiest way to paint an ant. You can use epoxy paint, which is very resistant to wear and tear, or oil-based paint. The oil on which the paint is based is not at all resistant to wear and tear. For all three options two coats of paint is the best amount to apply. Two thin coats are better than one thick coat, and you will get the desired color with two coats.

7. Let the paint dry and you’re done your project, you’ve updated Ant’s data without breaking the bank!
