A Mixed Review of Applebee’s in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, Illinois

We have eaten at the Applebee’s restaurant in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, Illinois area several times, but unfortunately I can’t go back there. This is disappointing to me because I have used quite a few meals and drinks at this Applebee’s, including dates, fun nights out with friends, and even a dinner or two alone for lunch.

It’s also in a very convenient location for me to stop off highway 159 in Glen Carbon, Illinois — mere blocks from the larger and better-known town of Edwardsville. However, after being desperate, I went there a couple of times, (apparently I am a slow learner) I went to Will not return to this restaurant.

My experiences at the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville Applebee’s have been rather positive for the most part. My friend who joined me eating there, this restaurant”>”kid friendly” restaurant, has an upbeat atmosphere. ” and also fond memories of joining friends there for a bite to eat and a drink after work. He says the level of service at Applebee’s is “usually average or above” and comparable to similar establishments. The restaurant itself appears clean.

Applebee’s is also an affordable dining option compared to some of the newer restaurants in the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville area. Most entrees are around $10, and two people can eat well there for $30-35.

I’ve eaten at this Applebee’s the last two times, but my opinion of it has definitely changed. The first time I ordered a chicken and pasta dish to try and enjoy before. Everything was fine until the car ride home, when I started experiencing horrible stomach pains. Luckily I live very close to the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville area, as the parking lot was not convenient. I limped into my house and literally spent the next three hours in my sitting room and spent three years in pain. . If it had lasted much longer or if I hadn’t had the aversion to doctors in general, I probably would have gone to the hospital.

So, I went back to that Applebee’s restaurant one time after it happened. He who had eaten had not been sick, and I thought that perhaps the last incident had been accidental. Quesadilla Burger with french fries, while enjoying the quesadilla burger for dinner, I decided to order something completely different.

Needless to say, I’m not giving the Glen Carbon/Edwardsville Applebee’s restaurant a third chance. I can’t explain why I’m so sick of having dinner partners twice, but I can’t believe it’s just a coincidence. Also, not eating in any other restaurant, I got sick like this. I would like to go back to Applebee’s, as sometimes their caesar salad is disappointing, but it’s simply not worth it anymore.
