Dracula, one of the most famous vampires, is not just a creation of Bram Stoker’s imagination. For he is based on a real person. Vlad Dracul was a bloodthirsty ruler in Transylvania who caused terror in his streets. Vlad’s art eventually led to the monitor Vlad the Impaler. He was a vampire in the flesh.

Born in 1430, Vlad Dracul began his existence with hardships. Vlad was named after his father Dracula, which means son of Dracula. Dracul could be translated as Dragon or Devil. Vlad was called the “Son of the Devil” in essence. He lived until a.
Due to his father’s political aspirations, Dracula was imprisoned at the age of eight. From then on his life was not much easier. During this time he was known for tormenting animals and insects. Dracula, the Vampire
We can make several connections between Vlad the Impaler and the literary Dracula.
Dracula’s unquenchable thirst for blood is not figurative. While the police victims slowly die on the stake, the Servant dips the bread in the new blood.
Dracula was said to have a disease, most likely due to iron deficiency which caused him to bleed. This disease could make him very pale. It can also tighten the muscles in the face, so that canine teeth appear longer than they are.
Dracula had a red and black cloak. This cape is quite similar to a modern day Dracula.
Vlad the Impaler, although as long as it is seen, the creature becomes nothing. This was a tyrant prince who put a thousand to death. Bram Stoker took this nighttime driver and turned it into a monstrous icon.
