For about a month or so now I’ve had about $70.00 sitting in my Amazon.com account. Fortune was with me, and I gained some evidence. Instead of getting fired for something I knew little about, I decided to use some of that money and buy Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Foundation SPF 10 – Tawny . I already knew that I love, love, love liquid foundation, and my cousin told me to wear a double layer. liquid foundation with powder would keep it looking fresh without spotting much longer, and most of all, powder in my pocket would keep it shiny and I could touch it up throughout the day if needed.
Promise:
Second place, Estee Lauder Double Wear, Stay-in-Place Powder Makeup SPF 10- Tawny gives you a full finish without being perfect. If you apply the powder with a brush, the result will look dusty. If you apply an additional sponge, you will have the same results as if you were wearing a foundation. vulputate! Yeah baby!
Did I also mention that they promise long term coverage? Ah, yes indeed. Like the Double Wear liquid foundation, the powder promises basically the same thing. I hoped so, because I loved the liquid foundation and it lasted all day long, conceal.
Packaging:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Foundation SPF 10- Tawny comes in a small blue cardboard box with the products name on it. Inside the box you have a navy blue brown plastic wrap around.
Nothing special about this deal. Almost any one. Inside you have a round sponge, your powder, and a small mirror.
Tawny Color:
Fawn means medium to them light skinned tone. It would not go well for those with light skin. For me, Tawny almost matches my actual skin tone.
My experience:
I applied Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Foundation SPF 10- Yellow with the included sponge applicator. Sponge applications tend to mix ingredients but but also you couldn’t control it. I also say that I am wearing something.
I also loved how light she felt. I’ve used quite a few powders that weighed down my skin, or worse, made my skin shine.
Extreme:
Did I mention how much I loved Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Foundation SPF 10- Tawny? I mean the past tense.
I will say in the past that Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Rutrum SPF 10- Tawny (sister unlike the liquid foundation has no last at all. I applied it to my face in the morning, and by the time it rolled around, my face looked like a mess.
I had shiny spots, the powder was unevenly darker in some areas, and my skin was glowing in areas it used to be. Double wear the liquid foundation before applying the powder!
Even just the day after that, though, the result was the same. No last.
Over:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Foundation SPF 10- Tawny would have been a really perfect powder makeup, unfortunately the coverage only lasts a short time. When he began to use it, it also ferns in places on your face creating an odd and messy look.
I wanted to love him, but he did not win over me.
