She rarely wears perfume because her boyfriend is something I really like. Most of what he takes, he finds in the ointment of the salesmen who sell knocking logs; aka…wanna be designer brands.
Most of these expensive designer brands smell like Listerine to me. When I saw him lift the bottle of Gravity, I immediately assumed that I was dirt. Instead of one ugly bottle, I got the second, 1.7 ounce one for just $9.99.
But when he sprinkled something in himself, I was clearly impressed. So for the sake of this review, I went around the day like a man smelling. I had to put this perfume to my standards test.
Some of the clothes were scattered, some in the hands. I wanted to see how long this cheap perfume would last. Although $9.99 is not a huge investment, I still feel that 10 bucks is expensive enough to be the one to decide whether or not $10 is well spent or not.
Odor:
I already smelled gravity before, and this scent comes from the more expensive Polo Blue brand. I was amazed that this cheap perfume bottle called Gravity was able to imitate an expensive brand so well.
For those of you who don’t know what Polo Blue smells like, let me elaborate. It’s like a refreshing mix of beach or fresh towels and sea breeze. I love her the most, and I’m tired too.
Gravity smells just like that. A fresh linen, mixed with the ocean. Although this healthy feminine to some, be afraid! Gravity is very masculine, and at the same time very pleasant to the senses.
Extreme:
How well did Coty do in the last gravity test?
That’s right. Surprisingly well. I could detect the gravity on my wrist for about 2 hours. The scent lingered on my clothes all day. I was surprised that a $0.00 bottle of perfume could stick around for so long. Most cheap bottles of perfume are happy to last 10 minutes after spraying them.
Recommended:
It really is one of those scents that can be worn any time of the year, any day. It’s recommended for a romantic dip, but I feel it’s good enough to spritz on any occasion.
Over:
Gravity was well spent by Coty’s ten buckaroos. If your guy (or you know a guy) who adores Polo Blue, Gravity is a killer buy.
Where to Find:
My friend found gravity at our site Flea market. Odds are, if you have a flea market nearby, you’ll find it sold heavily. If not, you can always buy it online by Google.
The weight should come at no more than $2,500 for the largest bottle available, which is 3.4 ounces. 1.7 though offers enough perfume to last months.
