The collection is based on the theme of “hiking” and features Alexander McQueen’s asymmetrical details as well as dramatic contrasts that represent the silhouettes of mountain ranges. The shoes in the Alexander McQueen collection for Leopard are also presented in a palette of vivid 1980s colors with darker colors as the dominant complementary colors.
Prices in the Alexander McQueen for Felice Fest 2010 shoe collection range from $150 to $395. The names of the shoe styles offered in the Alexander McQueen collection are Crag Hiker (both men’s and women’s styles), Descent Hi (men’s style), Ribcage II (men’s style), Technical K.O. Medium (men’s style), Street Climb Medium (men’s styles), Street Climb Lo (men’s styles), Trinomic (men’s styles), Scarred Street Leather (men’s styles), Scarred Street Suede (men’s styles), Elevate Hi (multiple styles) and entwine (kinds of men). Men’s sizes 7-12 are available in medium sizes, while women’s sizes are available in sizes 5- 10 .
The Hiker style jacket is priced at $395 for both men’s and women’s styles. It is made of Italian leather and features basketball designer shoes with six hole laces. Neck Hiker style for men in black comes in blue and pink for women. The Descending Hi comes in black, blue, and white for men only and costs $325 each. The asymmetrical style has Italian leather stitched with serrated detail. The Ribcage II design stays true to its name as it is a men’s sole shoe with individual cages on a multi-colored nylon mesh. It comes in black, blue, and white combinations. Technical K.O. The middle shoe-style men’s sole is more structured around the ankle and flexible around the foot. It consists of nylon material and leather, and is made in black.
Priced at $250, the Climb Mid-level shoe offers skirts in four distinct combinations, black, blue, and silver. and white It has a calfskin collar, and a tongue with a metallic sheen. The Street Climb Lo style is only very similar to the Street Climb Medium, with a less high collar. The Trinomic soles offered at a retail price of $175 each is made of Trinomic and is a mix of the Leopard de Sole signature and McQueen inspired upper. The shoes come in a combination of black, navy and blue. Street Scarred Leather (priced at $150) and Street Scarred Suede designs men only feature classic threads in tennis shoes with contrast embossed figure on the sides and metal binding on the front of the shoe. Black color is offered for the Scarredo Leather range, while blue, gray and brown are offered for the Scarredo Sweden road design. For the aforesaid woman’s shoe, made of raised goat’s skin with perforated wedges, a sole wedge, and a leg with an additional sheath. Black and blue colors are offered. Priced at $180, Entwin’s design for men includes high-cut designer shoes and a choice of three different shoe lace colors, black, blue, and pink. The sides sewn on the shoes show different colors of the shoe skirts.
