As the latest addition to the Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt family adjusts to their new family, Angelina Jolie’s brother has spoken about Angelina’s desire to adopt more children as a reason for her niece’s name.
In an interview with Grazia Magazine, James Haven Voight told how Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt came up with the name Shiloh for their daughter. James explained to his parents, Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, that he had decided to give the middle name Silo, but in the end minute, instead of Port he wanted to use The name Shiloh is interpreted as Messiah or peacemaker. James Haven said his parents had also officially named him James Shiloh but before the paper could be finalized, they requested a change. It is unclear why the change was made.
James Haven explained that while Angelina Jolie was pregnant, she and Brad Pitt came up with a name for her. According to James, the couple said they had been considering baby names and their favorite was Shiloh. Then they asked if it was OK to name the babyShilo because it was Jacob’s name. James said he was almost in tears because he felt so honored to have a baby name.

James Haven said that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are very happy with the adoption of Shiloh and his siblings but would like to continue to add to their family. He said to the fishermen that they never like to have children as a number, so there is no limit to them.
James also spoke about how Brad Pitt has changed in caring father for children.
“He’s changed so much. He’s completely involved, he loves children and he’s awesome with them. There’s no way around the children that Brad adopts. He can be rude. I’ve never heard the end of the numbers in their conversations.”
