The multiplayer modes in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood require a lot of strategy and timing to play well. Running around without a set purpose will only get you killed repeatedly. Because of the leveling mechanic in the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood new gamers have a disadvantage until they get some abilities and perks unlocked. However, even without the unlocks of the higher ranks there are still ways you can win if you play carefully. To help get started in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood multiplayer here are some hints and tips.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer Tips – Hiding
To get more than a couple lucky kills in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood matches you need to be stealthy. If your enemies see you do something that stands out the game gives them a quick option to lock onto you with the left trigger. So, be sure to blend in with the crowds if the enemy you are targeting is close. When your target is not visible you can sprint just be sure to stop running as soon as the indicator at the bottom starts glowing. This indicates that you have a line of site on your target and they can also see you. You can still walk fast at this point, but do not run or sprint. When you are playing defensively try hiding in a group that has another of your same character in it. If an enemy does get close they still have to figure out which one is you and which is a decoy.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer Tips – Escaping
If an enemy does get a line on you and they give away their position your heads up display will give you a red warning bar. When this happens take off sprinting immediately. If you have a smoke bomb throw it to slow down your pursuer. Try to take 90 degree turns whenever there is a side hallway available. This will break their line of site and change the bar to yellow. If you can, run through a couple doors so that they shut behind you blocking the enemy. Once you have a consistent yellow alert bar sit on a bench or blend in with a crowd to lose them completely and get a bonus for escaping.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer Tips – Experience
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood rewards sneaky and discreet kills. You can run around get a lot of kills and still lose the match because you were spotted. If you can make the kill without being detected first you get 4 times the points. Beyond the bonuses for stealth you also earn extra experience for getting kills in advanced manners. These include actions like killing from rooftops and while wearing a disguise. Getting just a few kills with bonuses is worth far more points than getting a lot of kills but getting spotted while doing it.
