Astro Boy Movie Review

As I’ve said many times, I’m not a big animation guy. I’m not anxiously awaiting the latest project from Pixar, DreamWorks, Disney, or Robert Zemeckis. Not that I don’t like them, but for some reason I just don’t seem to have the attention to focus on them for the longest time. Astro Boy tried to observe it very well and succeeded much more than others.

Astro Boy is “set in a futuristic Metro City, where a robot boy with incredible powers was created by a famous scientist named Dr. Tenma. Astro Boy is endowed with super-force energy, x-ray With vision, incredible speed and the ability to fly, he gains the joys and emotions of humanity, and the strength to embrace his destiny. to be.

I really didn’t know what to expect from the director of a movie that sends the main character staggering into the bathroom in Floed Away. That movie actually got some decent reviews, but it still seems to be one of the best animated films of the decade. . Director David Bowers really delivers when it comes to the action and fun of Astro Boy, though. The movie seems a little politically charged, but not enough to make you forget that you came to see the movie. a kid robot who shoots laser blasts from his head, laser beams from his arms, flies using a jetpack on his feet and beats up things while saving people. Pretty cool stuff.

The voice cast is great and does a terrific job. Each sounds like the animated characters you want to notice. Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Spiderwick Paralipomenon) does a great job of expressing the human emotions that still somehow seem to resonate through Astro Boy’s mechanical body. Dr. Nicolas Cage Tenma plays, clearly showing the ability to overcome emotional quality when he cheers for the first birth of Astro Boy and feels despair that the robot is not really his son. Other cast members include Donald Sutherland, Kristen Bell, Eugene Levy, and Nathan Lane all bringing their individual vocal talents. to be transparent then

The only real problem with the movie is that it’s not really challenging or anything new. That’s right. It’s an animated film that’s pretty much like everything else that’s coming out today, and it doesn’t try to be anything more visually or creatively. It’s not necessarily bad. I’m not saying that it doesn’t look good visually. I don’t like how they use crappy animation for Iron Man – Armored Adventures< /i>< /b>. I just kind of expected the expected reboot of the very popular 57-year-old Japanese manga character to be a little more “special” and memorable. Maybe sometimes I expect too much.

Astro Boy still has good news for kids and keeps his attention. I took my 3-year old old to the movies and she absolutely loved it. He sat almost the whole time. That means a lot, believe me. He can barely sit still through a 30 minute episode of The Clone Wars, and he loves
