Attias Flea Market in Sayville, Long Island, NY: Something for Everyone

I have constantly honored my sparkling headbands which I wear religiously, and every time I am asked ‘Where did I get that?’ I answer ‘Attias Flea Market’. >. When I was a Long Islander, I figured once I told those who knew the mosquito market right away where it was, and how to get there. But many Long Islanders will look at me like I have 2 heads when I tell them Attias Flea Market.

God alone knows how someone who is from LI does not know about the flea market; Seeing how many did not figure it out, I would say that those who had been in the cave for too long were surrounded, and how they got there, and damned their head chains.

The Attias Flea Market is located in Sayville, a huge building that has since expanded and added new vendors. Jaw dropping 600 vendors, 60 jewelry shops, and a food court.

In all honesty, when you walk in a flea market, you’re a little overwhelmed, but believe me, you can wander through the whole flea market for an hour; 3 hours if you take your time to check every vendor.

There are about 4 entrances to the flea market, but I honestly like to be greeted at the first entrance by the crowds of gold and silver jewelry that are in the cases they are shown in glasses.

In the mosquito market you will come with graphics, t-shirts where you can design your image or design, jewelry, jewelry and more jewelry, with designer names such as Gucci, Chanel, bay phat, many, many more. There are purses galore, (rumor has it that if you ask a woman in the newer addition to the building, she will give you the name of the torrid purse -fake of course- she is located in the newest section of the building in a back right hand corner of the flea market), they are toys for kids, brand name Japanese clothing, sword and furniture, watches. and car stereos, they also have a center console. In the back their stores are the most elegant shops like a thrift store, a shop where they ask you to bring beautiful glass to your home come for dirt cheap prices, in the back area you can find hot name brand shoes, killer jewelry vendors, and much more.

In the middle of the flea market you can find crystal pieces such as small elephants, monkeys, charms, and more. Here in the center you will also meet merchants who only focus on hair, in this field you will find brilliant clips, scrunchies, and of course, shiny calf hair illusions. Along the way you’ll find socks, bras and underwear at great prices.

The food court, which is located at the far right of the building, has plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate its customers. In the food hall you can get yourself a cold soda, tea, or some food. Be sure to purchase one of their great hot pretzels. In addition to the excellent new recipes, you can pick up a funnel cake, hot dogs, pizza, heroes, fries, burgers, and almost anything else you can think of. you can It is only to name.

WHAT I LOVE:

I love everything, in fact, what I love most is the customer. Each seller is located close to each other, and if you like the jewelry, and not the price, odds are that if you walk around, they will throw a much cheaper price at you that you are afraid you won’t find. The same / or similar part at the next seller. Every time I go in to buy earrings or rings, the price is given to me. If I feel a higher price, I leave, while I walk, they throw me at a cheaper price. That is, I give with them at a lower price than what they gave me. I walked away with an original $80 gold ring for $60. Truly, the Lord cannot beat him.

This is what makes shopping at flea markets so fun; you basically name your price. They can either take it or leave it.

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL AT THE FLEA MARKET:

It’s really awesome. Attias Fori Flea will send out a beautiful toy every year around Christmas time. These sellers come in to sell vintage toys that you really can’t find anywhere else. They also sell comic books, old baseball cards, and other similar old items. This is the best time to go up to the flea market, and I appreciate everyone’s ability to pick up old/missing pieces for their collections.

Things I’ve seen in the past include robotic toys from the early 40’s and 50’s, Batman figures from the early days, old Archie comics, Spider-Man, Hone, Hulks, and more. Old books, military, old Barbie books and magazines.

Besides toy fair, they also have a psychic in the booth to give palm/tarot readings. The price is $10. They will also have back massages where a little Japanese girl will walk on your back.

Flea in this sometimes the price of tincidunt lorem. It is very elegant to have a guest on the premises at this time. He stands behind a glass wall so customers can watch him create pieces in glasses. This person can also create parts for your request and stand there and make sure he observes it. Prices can get steep if you’re looking for a large piece, but it’s honestly one heck of a treasure.

The Super Attias Flea Market is a must see if you’re passing through Long Island. And for you Long Islanders who still visit the flea markets, now is the time. It’s a very real experience, and while you’re there, you’ll feel like you’re in a section of a Chinese town where they have everything, and what you can think about it. Plus, as in the city, you name the price. The price tags at Attia mean nothing.

Call 631-244-5755 to ask when the Christmas holiday starts. He will milk to drive everyone there and know another day that he will be beautiful.

CARNIVAL:

Oh yeah, of course they’re acting flippin’. The parking lot will sometimes be transformed into a carnival. I believe this year is fast, so call your husband and ask if you want to go to Carnival.

WHAT IS NOT WITHOUT HAVING:

Flea Market Attias can sometimes be a bit crowded and annoying. The walkways at the beginning of the market are a bit narrow, and with so many people passing by and bumping into your heels, the experience can quickly go from good to bad. Be patient though. The worst times, I think, are the weekends and a few days before Christmas.

besides a bit of a cluster on the weekend running also some always warm pillow. So coming in on a hot summer day could be uncomfortable. Hopefully the vendors will run fans that cool things down a bit. But in some sections it gets so hot that you feel like exploding.

I usually avoid the mosquito market during the summer months. It is recommended that you do the same. Go on a rainy day, or a nice cool fall/summer day.

Another thing I hate is how almost every jewelry seller has signs saying they are BYGRO. which is far from the truth. All the time I was there selling my old gold junk, nobody buys it. this time. You have always been told this, and you have been asking for years. So don’t think you’re going to go in and sell your scrap gold. I seriously don’t buy it, and I don’t know why they keep advertising like this in their products.

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday- The flea market is closed on Monday. However, it will open from 10-6pm on Sundays over the Christmas period.
Tuesday- Closed
Wednesday– Closed
Thursday – 10-9pm
Friday- 10-9pm
Saturday- 10-9pm
Sunday– 10-6pm

Of course, it’s a flea market, but if you head there during the week, you’re in for a much milder experience. Things get a little tight and hectic around Christmas time, but honestly this is the best time.
