Auditions aren’t just about seeing if you’re talented or good enough for a role. Auditions are how casting directors and production team determine your professionalism and see if yuo’re the kind of person they want to work with. It’s a job interview audition, and the following tips will help you proceed more clearly.
- They always arrive on time. What this really means is that it always arrives a little early. Allow for transportation problems and if you’ve never been to a location before. If you arrive very early, do not arrive at the office, audition location, or rehearsal studio more than ten minutes before your audition time. You will find someone else to wait for.
- Always have more patterns in the original and repeat the staples at the same time. Chances are they only want one, but sometimes they’ll ask for another, especially if you see a map. Additionally, if your audition is in a recording studio, you have the opportunity to submit to other projects that are auditioning there.
