A baby shower is a great way for couples to include dad-to-be in the festivities. You must be sure to make it fun for dads and avoid girly baby shower games like Gift Bingo and Baby Word Unscramble. There must be a higher level of competition for serving dads. Playing games while you watch, play them, and I promise it’s quite entertaining.

Best Pregnant Award
When you send Baby Shower invites to each couple, you will need to send a note about this joke. action Ask each couple to come to the shower dressed as pregnant. The catch is that the male must be pregnant. Vote for real pregnant couples and be sure to give a prize for a pregnant couple dressed up. A printed award certificate is a nice idea.
Diaper Changing Game
The baby will need a doll, clothes, and a mortgage for each of the serving parents. There is no game to see who can undress the baby, change the diaper, and correct the baby as quickly as possible. You can make this more difficult by adding steps to follow like wiping and applying diaper rash cream. This will give you an insight into how well change their baby’s diaper.
Boy Drinking Bottle Contest
Each father will have a baby bottle filled with soda. They probably won’t participate if they fill it with milk, so they really use the drink. The object is to see who can drink first. This game is hilarious to watch. You see everyone’s cheeks move so fast and fall out! This seems so easy, but it is more difficult to suck through such a small opening.
What Kind of Poop Is It? Game
This game will take a little preparation, but it’s worth it. You will need 10 diapers and 10 different candy bars. Unwrap and place one candy bar in each diaper and melt in the microwave. The time to dissolve them varies, but make sure you don’t know who the candy bars are there. Let cool and you are ready to play. Couples in team-games”>can join in this game. The dads smell each diaper and take a guess at which bar candy and moms write it in. Get lots of pictures of dads smelling diapers – very funny to look at later.
Baby Food Guessing Game
You will need 10 different types of baby food jars. Remove the labels and count the jars, but make sure you know what is in each jar. Go around the numbered jars, and everyone has to guess what kind of food is in the jar. For extra fun, give each person 10 plastic tasting spoons and let them taste any kind. Not actually doing this makes it much easier, and it’s fun to see dad’s faces when they taste it. Dads have a taste and guess and take a bite on a piece of paper writing what each couple thinks is in the jars.
For it is good to give prizes to every game, because it competes without a prize. Candy and other snack food also make great cheap prizes for winning dads. Play, take lots of photos and video footage, and have pregnant couples include a picture of each dad games in your Thanksgiving card.
Note: I only refer to dads and moms in attendance, but couples without children can have fun playing these games too. You can also make a few savings if you have individual insurance.
