If you are an avid reader and collector of books, you may want to consider joining a book-of-the-month club. It can save you a lot of money than buying books up front. There are books about the club for almost no profit.
How the De-Mense-Guilt Works book
To entice new members to join, most book-of-the-month clubs offer four or five books for a few cents each, plus shipping. As an added incentive, new members can receive an extra book for half price publishers when they register. In the exchange for collecting so many books such a discount, members agree to buy four books at the regular stock price (which is still less than retail price) within the next two years. Now, if you are a book aficionado, you will have no problem buying four books in two months, let alone two years! Book-of-the-month’s will then send flyers to all members each month, with the editor’s choice. Unless you submit a response card, you will receive the editor’s choice. If you don’t want the editor’s choice, or prefer another choice, you can simply fill in the info in the form and replace it. Or more easily, save stamp and answer online. Administering a monthly pin book is easy and free. You can also pay your bill online.
