When you’re looking for nightlife in Saratoga Springs, you’ll be faced with many choices. Experience the locals in the city’s favored home, the sports court, or one of the many upscale ones throughout the city. The three bars in the area are my favorite; Saratoga City Tavern, Gaffney’s, and Brunswick Restaurant. Every time I go to the shop or to Gaffney, I think of spending the night between the two. It’s easy to get in and out since the two bars are across the street from each other.

This newly renovated bar, located just off Broadway, on Caroline Street, offers four tables of entertainment. When you walk into the shop, you are greeted by a spacious bar and friendly staff. One floor offers a dance floor, the other floor has tables for lounging, and of course there is always the option of choosing the top decorated roof. The private rooftop deck offers a great view of the night life below Saratoga. Sip your drink and sit among the private tables under twinkling lights.
Saratoga City Tavern has a laid back atmosphere and friendly vibe. Live entertainment is offered on select nights, so check out the schedule. Lots of shop food is on the menu; cheeseburgers, pizza, wings, and salads. There should be no chocolate. Due to the location and flexibility of this location, it is a great place for a private guest event.

Gaffney’s is a trendy bar. Many people enjoy gaffney after they have finished the day’s work. But the setting outside on the patio creates a very relaxed atmosphere. This bar is open for the year; though my favorite time to spend at Gaffney’s is during the summer months. You can dine outside on the patio and enjoy the night under the sky. Live entertainment can be heard on the base at night during the summer months.
Gaffney’s offers a wide variety of food. Everything from a simple chickpea salad to an all American cheeseburger. you can eat in the garden or on the patio indoors. Check out one of our own drinks.
