Learning a foreign language is within everyone who really wants to learn. Sometimes adults stutter in reason, feeling too much in their native language ways. However, if you know that learning a foreign language is merely a word replacement, which we do naturally. without work in our language, that new language will not be seen as threatening. How many words can you think of that mean “money”? Goat, bread, dough, the list goes on. These are conversational supplements. So what is so difficult about replacing the Spanish “denero”, or the Russian “dyengie”, etc.
To be fluent at the level of everyday conversation, there are only about 600 words that are commonly spoken. Learning the right words, and the balance of verbs, nouns and adjectives, will quickly open up new language skills. These three products have foreign language training tools and vocabulary needed to start your new language. Each one is unique because the brain teaches differently. All three are used for German, Russian, and Arabic, and these three are the front-line programs on the market today.
1. Rosetta Stone.
Rosetta Stone is a CD ROM product that is sold in various levels of study, starting with its lowest “explorer” for deep speech sampling. This package runs around $30 from Amazon.com, and will provide you with 26 lessons in one language. There is also a brief understanding of other languages that is ideal before ordering more expensive software. Rosetta stone is the art of teaching a new language by describing what you see. There is no English in their travels, and there is no need for it. Rapid-fire images and words will automatically become second nature. For the study of written words, click the tab for reading skills. Rosetta Stone is used by the military, NASA, and countless other organizations to learn quickly and efficiently without knowing what you’re learning. These programs are fun and offer advanced levels 1 and 2, or the best savings, a level 3 that includes everything. The programs are developed for those who want advanced grammar, high-end vocabulary and hundreds of hours of study material.
2. Pimsler.
The Pimsler product is only for audio use, but very effective to prepare you for daily exchanges. CD will present two players in the conference. At the end of each lesson, one player will be silent and the student will answer the questions. The segments are carefully designed with target words to build vocabulary quickly. But there is no excessive verbiage beyond what is necessary for efficient speed, making this a simple program at its best. In addition, for Arabic learners, Pimsler offers Egyptian Arabic programs, which no other company offers in this type. Arabic dialects are different, and the most common program is MSA or Modern Arabic. But this form of the language is not used in any Arabic country; that educational standard is what they learn in online school when in the case where the two dialects are very different. But for those who want to study Arabic in its purest form, I recommend choosing Egyptian. Pimsler will take you from zero to profitability in months if you are diligent with CDs. But no skills were written by Pimsler. This is what you need to compare to yours, but it won’t be difficult when the words make sense to you. The Pimsler career starter CD box is offered at a discount from Overstock.com for about $16. Choose a language.
3. Clear Language.
Transparent Language has developed a software program for a step-by-step learning experience that includes reading and listening while memorizing vocabulary. Unlike Rosetta Stone and Pimsler, this program mixes written and verbal programs together, due to traditional access to study Their “Now” series, as in “Russia Now”, etc., puts in lesson plan in Russian, while a native speaker reads the text. As the text progresses, a yellow light appears in each spoken word, so that you can recognize it in print. The control tab will allow you to set the pace of the reading to a slower pace or a normal conversation pace. There is also a written board to test your reading skills. Many useful features are included in this program, notably a glossary and a more in-depth vocabulary study tab for crystallizing the primary and secondary meaning of words. Transparent language pays attention to detail that the other two programs mentioned do not, but this system will move slowly to the learner’s medium. Amazon has the best prices starting at around $69, depending on the language.
