Not all games are meant for learning, but games are. Why are they called sports? But, it’s definitely nice that my child enjoys the activity, it also provides intellectual value, especially in reading and spelling! Although it’s not a new fad, Webkinz kids love stuffed animals and the site that goes with them. First, the parent’s likely support for their child system. Although I remember playing this game with my sisters and dad way through high school, a 4 year old can grasp the idea of forming words, albeit a small one. Shaking boxes full of letters or flipping 3-minute puzzles is fun, but Boggle can bring the pieces to life and should be used carefully with children as young as 2 or 3. Holding the ankles and turning it to reveal different letters can jump start letter recognition very early. Then, work with your child to work out the letters of the small words on the table, or to draw a proper name on the blocks.
