Located in a beautiful suburb of Houston you will find the popular Redstone Golf Club. Located only 15 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport it is extremely convenient for those from our of town. Probably one of the most well known of the many golf courses in the Houston area, and often called one of the best. Recognized for being home to the Shell Houston Open, where PGA golfers compete on the Tournament course. Every spring the PGA Tour’s 10th oldest Tournament brings premier golfers and tens of thousands of spectators, held just one week before the Masters Tournament.
The 18 hole course is lovely, it almost seems secluded, which is hard to do in a large city like Houston. It is wooded and there are no residences in view. You will encounter wetlands, cypress trees and natural lakes throughout the golf course. It almost has a low country South Carolina feel to it. The course is open to the public, also open year round. Green fees are $125 on weekdays and $175 on weekends. You are also able to get professional lessons if you desire.
You can warm up on their two large practice putting greens. The green fees includes cart, golf, range and forecaddie fees. Of course they also have a full service Pro shop with any merchandise, equipment and apparel you could need. Also awarded one of the top 100 Golf shops in America in 2009. You will find merchandise from top of the line manufacturers, a few available are: Nike, Titliest, Taylormade, Polo, Ping, Callaway and Fairway & Greene. After a enjoyable game of golf you can grab a bite at their elegant Players Grill, and enjoy a lovely Texas sunset.

Located only 20 minutes north of Houston you will find the picturesque 18 hole Panther Trail golf course. The natural beauty of The Woodlands is truly highlighted at this fun and challenging course. It is one of four courses in The Woodlands in the Canongate Golf Course family, this is the only public one. Their other four private courses are located at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center.
This course was completely renovated in 2002 to give it water features, new contours and over 20 acres of wildflowers along the fairways. The renovation was done by Roy Case, who has been a design consultant for the Arnold Palmer Management company since 1997. Panther Trail has been ranked one of the Top 5 courses in the Houston area. With water on 12 holes and 47 sand traps this course can be demanding.
The Royal Mile Grille is open seven days a week, a perfect place to relax and enjoy their excellent food. You will find they also have a fully stocked Pro shop, and the clubs’ PGA professionals also offer custom equipment fitting. The green fees for non-members are $76.00 Mondays through Thursdays, and $86.00 Friday through Sunday. If you are interested in being a club member you can see all the many benefits here.
