1) 30bananasaday.com/
This website is a web forum/community. It comes from the website zing which lets you make communities yourself. I love this site because it is very informative and inspiring. There are places to post questions of all kinds, there are blogs, informative videos, and more. The site is run by two amazing people named Freelee and Harley who themselves are low fat raw vegans and practice what they preach. They also hold FREE raw retreats to help and teach. This site taught me a lot of what I know and I can be seen on it often.
2) rawfoodexplained.com
It is what the name implies! It breaks down the rules of natural hygiene and answers most of the basic questions…specifically of why one would choose low fat raw vegan over high fat/raw gourmet. Even for aspiring vegans this site is great!
3) goneraw.com
A huge forum/community where people put up recipes and lots of pics! Most are not low fat and some are not even perfectly raw (vinegar is not raw!), but it still is quite inspiring and gives me good ideas.
4) foodnsport.com
This is Dr. Douglas Graham’s site. He wrote 80/10/10 which is the best book on low fat raw veganism and is the one that started it all for me as well as most low fat raw vegans!
5) fitonraw.com
I love this blog type site! It has so many articles and they are all great! She even has a free ebook and new ebook that is GREAT and is pretty reasonable compared to most raw books out! I read her newsletter that comes in my email every time! So good!
6) fredericpatenaude.com
He has great newsletters too and is VERY informed about low fat raw veganism. He also has many books out about it from recipes, tips, and even other categories like how to run an online business (which he certainly does successfully!) and how to move to a tropical island! His stuff is a bit expensive, but he also has plenty of free stuff too to balance it out.
7) rawforlife.co.uk/
Great website and inspiring woman! She writes great articles and has plenty of them! I only put her lower down because she does not update all the time…but she kinda already has everything you need to know up there!
8) rawnaturalhygiene.ning.com/
Another Ning site with lots of good info! Not quite as active, and not quite as many long term practicers but has great articles because of the starter of it Michelle.
9) bananaislandrecipes.blogspot.com/
A site with great low fat raw vegan recipes! No need to buy a book! They may seem simple, but that is because they should be! Besides, when you only use fruits, greens, some veggies, and a few nuts…and NO herbs or oils…it gets complicated to make anything! So go simple 😀
10) Other Personal Blogs
I will keep this one vague because I feel there are so many good blogs out there about the subject. You really have to look though! The stuff above is all the ones with most info (and one with lots of recipes), but I love reading blogs for inspiration and to learn from their lessons and mistakes. Now go google!
Final Note:
There are MANY great sights out there for this subject, and these are just my favorites that I look to often, and thank for help on my journey. I do not want to say that others are not as good, and discourage one to look at their own personal faves! All I want is to encourage health!
