Most of my articles are related to Disney World and this one is no exception. I’ve read so many wonderful things about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that I knew that I just had to take my daughter. Adults – don’t be afraid – you are more than welcome here. Let me start by saying that the BBB (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique) is a salon. Not just any salon but one owned by the Fairy Godmother of Cinderella. Hence the name of the salon. When you walk-in, you’re little one is made to feel like a princess. Check-in and you’re handed a pager. It will go off letting you know that you’re ready to go back to be made into a princess.
Most little princess come here before they’re going to see other princesses at Character meals. You’ll be amazed at the offerings here and maybe just a little surprised by the prices.
The basic package is hair and make-up and runs approximately $45. You can have their nails done for another $5. Now when I say hair – I don’t mean that they will wash it, style it, and cut it. They’re Fairy Godmothers in training so it’s pretty much 20 minutes and next in line!
You’re told to bring your own hair brush with you. They will style your hair and add a few decorations and fairy dust with lots and lots of spray to hold your style in place. In fact it will stay for days if you wish to keep it that way. For more $$$ you can even add hair extensions.
There’s also a complete package where your little one can choose a princess dress with accessories and receive photos taken by a Disney photographer. Let me say that these are great photos. We did purchase them and they are well worth the money. I didn’t buy this particular package because it was a little steep, around $180. We carried our dress with us and many others did too.
Please feel free to bring your own camera and take several pictures. Make sure you take before, during, and after pictures.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is in such high demand that it now offers two locations. One is in Downtown Disney and the other is located at the Magic Kingdom. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 1-407-WDW-STYLE. There’s also a cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. You’ll need to hold the reservation with a credit card.
