“Black Amethyst” was one of my go-to scents during the colder months of last year and into this year.
For one reason or another I always get to this on Sundays before going to church. This fragrance is very mature and something that tends to be more serious in composition.
This products I had never tried before last fall, the most that I never knew existed.
Although I’m now obsessed with Bath and Body Works, I’ve kind of cut back on buying things there for a few years.
While on vacation in Orlando, Florida last year, we visited a local and my husband and I went to the Spa and Body Works located there.
I really wanted to try some new products and this one almost went under my radar.
This scent seems to be placed in every store to the left of the cellar in the very front. You literally walk past it, and that’s why I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for my hubby to smell another nearby scent.
This scent immediately struck me as something that I would never have thought Bath and Body Works would carry. I say this because the smell is stronger and deeper. Most of their older and best sellers are sweet or floral in nature, this one is a very sophisticated and sophisticated perfume in my opinion.
I don’t think everyone wants this. There are many younger women out there teens shopping and want something lighter, this is certainly not for those women.
I really like to tend to “boyfriend” scents for some reason and this definitely has stronger masculine notes. Although I think this could be older women.
The scent is described as a combination of floral, bergamot and sandalwood.
The packaging is really nice on these products and it is purple in nature.
While I only bought 3 products in this scent, there are a few others that come in this scent.
I have a shower gel that costs 10.50 for 10 fl$. oz. in body splash which costs 12$ for 8 oz; and finally the triple moisture cream, which also comes in an 8 oz size and retails for $12.
There are also other items like bubble bathbubble-bath, body lotion, body butter, hand cream and shower Toiletries that range in price from around $10 – $30.
I bought mine for sale. I really recommend that you try to get these sales since its a “buy 2 free 1” type of sale that you can really to save money.
I recommend this fragrance to anyone who likes a heavy bang and spray scent.
I’m really pleased with the long-lasting power of the cream and the shower and shower gel lathers are really good.
The cream is also a great moisturizer for dry skin or skin that has been slightly dried out by the weather.
