Remember when you were a little girl and loved those Bonne Bell Lip Smacker’s lip balms?
I cannot tell you how many of those balms I have had and used over the years and still love today.
Of course this brand is mostly advertised to young girls and teenagers, but who’s to say that adult women can’t splurge a little and buy some of these cute products.
When my family and I visited the Coca Cola Factory and Museum in Atlanta Georgia on a vacation, I noticed several Bonne Bell lip balms being sold in their gift shop.
I really wanted something as a souvenir and what better than something makeup related that I could actually use?
I decided on the “Sprite” liquid Lip Smacker. This small lip gloss comes in a little clear tube with the name on the outside.
You twist off the green cap and attached is a sponge tipped applicator which is used to apply the product.
This lip gloss smells amazing. While I am not a huge soda drinker, the smell of this gloss actually smells just like Sprite. It is just a nice mix of lemon-lime that really does transfer on your lips and stays there a while.
I find that this is truly a clear lip gloss. This gloss has no sparkle or shimmer and is literally transparent. I don’t know about you, but for some reason, it is hard to find an absolutely clear lip gloss.
I think I paid a few bucks for it and use it quite often on its own as it is actually pretty moisturizing.
I often use this when I am makeup free. It is just nice and simple, only adding a small amount of sheen to your lips.
The shine doesn’t last too long, but a good amount of time compared to the price and brand.
I didn’t expect much and am pleased with my purchase.
Since then, I have found this Sprite flavored gloss in other retailers like Wal-Mart. I am sure that this product is less expensive at drugstores and you will probably pay less than $3.
This is a great gloss to carry in your purse or put in your pocket if you are on the go. This is also something that young girls would probably like too.
You don’t get much product though, but the price is low. You only get about .09 fl oz of this gloss.
