The CanoScan 8800F is a fantastic scanner for documents, images, film and photographs, in fact it wins my Blue Ribbon Award for excellence. Canon CanoScan 8800F drivers and software are very easy to install and the scanner works very well. The CanoScan 8800F scans and enlarges the samples before sending and also auto-scans the negatives and slides and tries to arrange them correctly.

Here are the CanoScan 8800F features:

I’ve been playing around with the CanoScan 8800F and I’m very impressed with the ease of scanning as well as the live setup. I mentioned earlier that it also tries to arrange the pictures correctly and by that we mean some pictures that don’t really appear to add ease to the orientation of the scanners. I tried some pictures like in the caves and one of the hippopotamus in the water with no real background either way, the scanner could easily find the sky or the ground. These were not properly arranged, but the people and landscapes and several other animals I fenced were easy to pick up and arranged with the correct ends of the animals going the right way.

The CanoScan 8800F is a nice scanner that comes with a scanner unit, three negatives and film holders, power cord and adapter, USB cable, driver and software CD, picture framing and it was well designed and easy to scan.

Scanner installations with two programs that easily scan your and integrate into programs such as Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop Elements 5 to your scanning features to add. To use the scanner you simply click on the Canon MP Navigator EX icon and click on the appropriate function to scan in the Navigator software or you can use the same functions on the scanner. You can install these individual functions to some extent from the Navigator and perform these basic functions: Save, Copy and Mail.

The save and copy functions allow you to choose where to save and what printer to copy while also selecting everything as a document or image type; photo, magazine, document, negative film, positive film or auto mode. There are also settings based on image or document type such as resolution, paper size and dots per inch or DPI. The scan and save functions are easy to use and figure out, without even going into the help section if you have used scanners before or familiar pictures and and one slot to scan documents and convert. He called them OCR looking at the text files. A scanner with an OCR program called ScanSoft OmniPage SE that does an excellent job of converting documents into text. There are other slots and buttons on scanners to view things directly in PDF files and save them to any location. you wish

Any of these settings are available from the scanners Navigator and some are available from the front buttons on the scanner, simply place your document or image on the scanner and press the button to go to the scanner and scan and open programs. the appropriate program or send it where you set up the Navigator. I have used and installed all of these and have not had any problems with any of them, they work so well I am impressed.

Just looking at photos, documents and images is very easy and you can request them in a white envelope. There is a slot for sending adequate light through the scanner lid when viewing negatives and films so the image is properly lit and viewable. To scan regular items you simply have to snap off the white plastic plate on the lid. When scanning the film and slides, unlock the plastic card and place the appropriate holder in place by placing the film in the holder. This slot does not admit light from the room, but allows light to pass through the film for viewing.

Film scanning works great and I’ve worked with these as well as document scanning and scanning in Photoshop CS3. The scanner works great and has plenty of settings such as high resolution and pixel settings for really clear and crisp images. The scanner also comes with some very nice built in software image editing settings that work great for dust and finger touchup while scanning.

You can use the scan settings, some basic photo editing that allows you to edit and correct the image in the viewing program directly photo printing I use a drop editor < /a>. This means there is no image editing step, but it still gives you a decent photo without messing up some decent images straight from your scanner.

Scanning film and photographs is great with CanoScan and being able to control the output of images is easy. You can set different DPI options from smaller and lower quality in hundreds up to 4800 in photo settings. You can also increase these settings using external software such as Photoshop CS3 to 9600 DPI.

The scanner works very quickly and in much less time than my older scanner, I’m impressed with everything about the Canon CanoScan 8800F. The CanoScan 8800F also comes with a couple of useful software like Arcsoft PhotoStudio and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5, two of the best photo editing software.

I highly recommend the Canon CanoScan 8800F for professional quality scanning for the professional or amateur photographer. CanoScan 8800F is great for home, small-business-accounting”>small or medium business with plenty of features for productivity and viewing as well as copying and PDF document functions.
