If you are reading this, you must go to Casper or Casper and think about doing something tonight. You don’t want to waste time in a dead hotel (if there is one) and going around looking for event spots is also something you don’t want to do. Party in Casper – The basics
– The people in Casper are generally friendly but not completely unfriendly. They tend to only focus on you, but if they do strike up a conversation, they are, for the most part, ignoring you or being rude. But there are a few that can be thrown together. The language is always sarcastic and homophobic is not uncommon among the locals, so if you are offended by this kind of thing, stay away from it.
— Casper is drunk in a cheap place. Beer normally costs half of what it does in Denver and a third of what it does in places like Los Angeles. You can find bottles of Buds for around $1.50 and drafts are even cheaper in some stores.
– Most of the Casper bars take credit, but not all do, as it is wise. ask yourself before you think about solving with plastic.
– The bars can stay open until 2 a.m. every night, but on Sundays, when they close at 10 a.m. However, some bars tend to close earlier in the week nights if things are dead. Sometimes even before 2 p.m. to close on weekends.
– If you want to party on Sunday, then head to Evansville where the bars stay open until 2 a.m., but beware of the cops there in Evansville (more on that later).
– Most bars will sell you a package of beer, whiskey and, in theory, wine until 2 a.m., so if you want to keep it in the past, Casper is one place you can do it.
– You cannot buy beer or any alcohol at any convenience store in Wyoming. You should buy your booze in liquor stores or bars. Fortunately, there are plenty of both.
– You can just smoke about every bar in Casper.

Sidelines

Directions – From Interstate 25 take the Poplar Street exit. Take a right onto Poplar if you’re heading north on I-25 or a left if you’re heading south. You will find yourself climbing a mountain. the road will curve to the left. At Wilkins Circle (there is no light at the intersection) take a left. Follow the road. Sidelines is a structure that looks like a large barn to your right.
Scene – During the day, Sidelines serves larger and airier with a sports bar with over a dozen televisions and several giants. on the shelves At night, the place turns into a dance club.
Easily the most popular bar in Casper with the under-25 crowd, Sidelines is the place to go if you’re looking to hook up. This is Casper’s version on the market. But the dance floor is usually quite packed. But if you’re looking to get down to anything but top-40 hip-hop, then you’ll be disappointed that the only music you’ve been drawn to is Sidelines.
Friday nights are most popular, but Wednesday lady night and Thursday men’s night can also happen. Saturday can be busy too but Friday is really Sideline’s biggest night.
A $2 cover is normally announced on both Friday and Saturday.
Drinks are on the expensive side of Casper, but as I said before, they are never very expensive to drink in Casper.
Beacon Club

Directions – From Interstate 25, take the 20/26 Bypass exit and follow that road until you reach 20/26 and take a left. Drive about two miles until you reach Wyoming Boulevard and take a left. The Beacon Club is on the dance floor between the north corner of Wyoming Boulevard and Route 20/26, which is then called Yellowstone.
Scene – Technically not a Casper bar, Beacon is actually in the adjacent town of Mills, the Beacon Club is the largest and most easily recognized nightclub in central Wyoming. Generations of Casperites have gone “Sneaking to Beacon” and you should if you’re looking for some action
County and Western bands live on the Beacon stage every weekend night and the dance floor is usually packed. Unusually, when bands break up – which is often – he plays pop or even hip-hop.
The clientele on weekends is bigger than at Sidelines. Average age probably about 30.
Saturday nights are the best at Beacon. But Friday and Wednesday nights can be pretty rough too.
They are drinks than the average Casper bar. And those drinks can be served at the long bar and at your table. Covers are also usually loaded on Fridays and Saturdays, the amount of which depends on the record.
Miracle Bar

Directions – From Interstate 25, take the Center Street Exit. You’ll get to the center right if you skip southbound 1-25. Take a left if you’re heading northbound. Prostrate about eight blocks in the center. The Amazing Bar will be on your right.
Scene – The Wonder Bar claims to be “world famous”, in part because it is located in a building that has served as an irrigation ditch since the 1900s. Many fames, most notably Arrh Hemmingway, have placed a few there.
The Wonder Bar is a solid bar with a reasonably good beer selection and well-priced cocktails, especially wells.
The bar opens on weekend nights around 8 p.m. and usually around 12:30 p.m. empty, as it usually serves as “therefore the bar” for many Casperites. Friday nights are usually the most popular weekend nights and the bar fills up even on Wednesdays.
The Wonder Bar closes pretty early almost every week, but on Wednesdays, and no luggage is served there.
No smoking inside the Miracle Bar.
The Wonder Bar caters to drinkers in their late 20s to early 40s and the scene is a bit more sophisticated than most Casper events. It is safe.
Sandbar Lounge

Directions – From Interstate 25, take the Center Street exit. Take a right turn onto southbound I-25 and a left turn onto northbound I-25. Drive about six blocks until you find First Street where you take a right. First, push the two blocks until you reach the ash. The Sandbar is at the corner of First and Ash Dance.
Scene – Sandbar is now the best true dive bar in Casper. Here they pour great and cheap beers, and pour cheap and strong cocktails.
A heap of delicious food is served here at bargain room prices. The fries are especially recommended.
The sandbar is open every night until 2 a.m. without fail, except on Sundays when it closes at 10 p.m. as the law commands. Until and sometimes the earth, football time out.
The crowd here can be a bit rough and the place is known to be patronized by hard core drunks and methamphetamine junkies. However, most of the time it is a very safe place.

Movie Star Lounge

Directions – From Interstate 25, take the Center Street exit. Take a right turn onto southbound I-25 and a left turn onto northbound I-25. Drive about nine blocks until Collins Drive, where you take a right. Drive two more blocks until you reach the holiday. The Star Lounge is on the corner of Ash and Hill.
Scene – New Casper bar with tons of Hollywood cheese laurels on the walls. Despite the decor, the drinks are cheap and super friendly service. As long as you’re not prone to migraines or seizures, this combination can be fun.
The clientele is generally younger and the place stays open as long as it’s crowded.
Karaoke is sometimes at Movie Star and once in a while it’s actually live.
Light Lounge
Address – 2305 E 12th Street; Casper

Directions – From Interstate 25 take the Beverly Street exit and head south (right turn from southbound I-25; left turn northbound). Continue down Beverly for about 16 blocks until you reach 12th Street where you take a left. Moonlight will be on your right and less than a block east of the intersection of 12th and Beverly.
Scene – Moonlight is a pool of players as billiard tables dominate the interior decor. A little cheap cups and electric boxes. Moonlight also has one of the last drive-thru liquor windows in Casper, so you can leave a bottle of hooch without leaving the comfort of your car. There’s a bit of a moon bar in the dive, so things can get a little rough there.
Back Lounge

Directions – From Interstate 25, take the Poplar Street exit south onto Poplar (left turn onto Poplar from northbound I-25; right southbound. Go down Poplar for about 20 blocks until you get to CY Avenue (it’s a major intersection). Take the rest on CY and about two blocks Drive in. The Back Lounge (also called CY Liquor) will be on your left.
Scene – Clearly, this is the best bar in the Casper neighborhood and possibly the best bar in the world.
The place looks like a small liquor store from the front but fear not, there is access to the lounge in the back (yes, back Lounge, take it). The bar is small and smoky but the prices are phenomenal, especially during happy hour – of which there are several. They are always looking for drink specials, and they are plentiful and good.
The best friend I ever had was a servant.
The clientele really runs the gamut from the young to the old and here the poor is the rich. It can also get quite crowded on weekend nights, mainly because the place is so small.
Septemtrioni’s Dream

Directions – Interstate 25 to the Ormsby Road exit located approximately 8 miles north of Casper. You will take the village of Ormesby on the left. Drive under the Interstate and don’t miss the place.
Scene – Casper’s only strip club. It’s a funny place that I’m a little shy about.
The detractors use their kooches for dollar signs to remove the patrons quite boldly lying across the stage.
Beers are expensive and are always $3 cover.
Old Chicago Pizza
Address – 3580 E 2nd Street; Casper

Directions – From Interstate 25 take the Beverly Street exit and head south (right turn from southbound I-25; left turn northbound). Drive Beverly for about six blocks until you hit Second Street where you take a left. Drive down Second Street for about 10 blocks until you see Old Chicago on your left, it’s hard to miss.
Scene – The Casper location of the pizza chain is nothing special, but it has by far the best beer selection in town. Casper’s beers are a bit expensive and no liquor is served here (it’s a long story). Patrons really do wander in for ages, and staying behind you, the smaller crowd catches up.
The place serves good food, but not as good as Sandbaric. That place is actually the anti-Sandbar as it is clean, corporate, fun but safe.
Avalon

Directions – You can get to Avalon by taking the Wyoming Boulevard exit off I-25. Head north on Wyoming Blvd. until you see Kum and Go in store. At Kum and Vade, take a right and follow that road for about 500 yards until you see Avalon on your left.
Scene – Avalon can be very sketchy. But if you want to drink on Sundays after 10 p.m. in Casper, this Evansville dive is the best place to go.
On Sundays this place takes all kinds and there is plenty of meth at Avalon.
If you decide to go there, it’s wise to take a cab home as Evansville residents are known to pull anything and everything.
Other Bars
Pump Loom – Located in Poor Boy Steakhouse just off Center Street exit I-25, Pump Room is good, drink and to speak the republic. It is quiet and very comfortable. It’s also surprisingly affordable – especially for well drinks. Don’t just look here for the hook.
All That Jazz – Located in the Parkway Plaza Hotel just off the Center Street exit of I-25, All That Jazz is a great hotel bar. Yes, but the clinic is great. Live music sometimes they play on weekends. The prices are good, the seats are comfortable, and who knows you might meet the owner.
Drake’s – Located at the Holiday Inn just off I-25 between the People and Center Street exits; Dragon’s bar is a hotel. It has telehorasim and neon signs.
There are other bars in Casper besides the ones mentioned, but all of them are either small bars or small neighborhood bars that are not recommended outside by the owner. There are also some places in town that have liquor licenses, like Applebee’s and Outback Steakhouse, but they’re not chains and you’ll learn nothing. of the town that you find yourself on the way to such joints.
