If you’re serving up some unique and delicious foods at the bridal shower, consider giving your guests recipe cards to take home with them. The recipes will be fun to use in the future, and the cards are easy for you and can be as simple or complicated as you want.
To make this bridal shower favors, you will need durable recipe papers, such as plain or colored stationery or two layers of cardstock glued together nicely. You’ll also need lots of crafty supplies, such as scrapbook-related wedding decorations, or just fun scissors and paper punches and stickers.
To get the card back, you can either cut it out and print it directly onto the paper, or glue it onto the paper, or hand it in writing to give it a personal feel. Then, of course, it touches on all the personal tricks you can think of to make them functional and special. Also put a dish photo on photo card! If you’d like to make the sheets more food-resistant, consider laminating them, either as a gift or with laminating home decor, or just plain tape. This will keep them nice and clean for all the years of use in the kitchen!
Imagine Chocolate
If you can heat the chocolate without burning it, make an easy chocolate bland shower chocolate shapes and chocolate chips. You can purchase three-dimensional molds at crafts or specialty baking stores, or you can just use a cookie cutter on a hard surface. Try to find something related to weddings, whether wedding bells or hearts or rings.
For fake chocolate, melt your chocolate chips, maybe adding extra pigment like orange extract or almond extract to the face you’re painting. Once your chocolate is melted and smooth, carefully pour into the molds (cups with ampoules work best for this step). If you have an open surface, you can also consider putting something fancy in the chocolate, such as orange peel or candied. Peel the coconuts before they harden.
Mix CD Bridal Shower Favorites
If you’re putting a lot of effort into creating a great themed bridal shower game for your shower, consider burning a CD of songs for your guests to take home. with them. Decorate the cover of your CD with permanent marketing, or use stickers that you can print from your computer.
