Infomercials seem to rule the airwaves and show a variety of products. Some appear to be scams, but few actually work. As a rule, I see that most of these products are advertised on infomercials, but one of the things I bought and use to make is a Turbo Cooker.
The Turbo Cooker 2-in-1 pan aims to cook a whole meal in one pan and cook food from the freezer to the table in minutes. Chef Randall announces the Turbo Cooker, or did it, on the market with a wide selection of other products, ranging from knives to gifts.
Because I am busy with my wife and the other three, the idea of ​​preparing delicious meals appealed to me in minutes. Before I offer my opinion on the Turbo Cooker, I want to point out that I have seen everything from rave reviews to scam warnings on the Internet about the Turbo Cooker. I had seen neither praise nor condemnation before I bought mine: so I was moved by no one’s opinion.
The Turbo Cooker works as advertised if you use the product as instructed. It’s not as simple as Chef Randall seems on television. To prepare a recipe, there are several steps that require perfect timing and constant attention from the cook. Unlike my slow cooker I can load myself with food and walk away, the Turbo Cooker keeps me hooked. that I may follow the instructions of the kitchen. But the work is not easy.
One of my favorite recipes and the one I have used most with the Turbo Cooker is really Rotisserie Chicken. The recipe card states that it will be ready in 35 minutes and it is. I don’t cook croquettes, or I don’t have a lot of people to attend to, and I don’t follow the whole process.
The recipe suggests that I remove all the skin from the whole chicken before I start with the knife. That would be too much time in my opinion. My review of the Turbo Cooker would earn a B- on a grading scale. It works, I use it, but it’s more complicated than shown and I don’t use it as often as I thought I could.
