Chicco C6 Stroller Review

I bought a Chicco C6 Stroller for about $70 at an online store. The Chicco C6 Stroller is an updated version of the Chicco Capri, and is also sometimes referred to as the Chicco Ct 0.6.

I bought this walker because I wanted something smaller than my travela and jogging walker. I was hoping for something easy to maneuver through crowded stores, light enough to lift into my midsize SUV with one hand, and compact. In addition, I was hoping for something with a few more features than the standard $20 umbrella stroller.

CONVENIENCE AND QUALITY

The Chicco C6 Stroller is already assembled in the box. The only gathering required of me was to put up a canopy. Absurdly enough, I found the instructions for this step to be mildly confusing. After putting in the photo box, however, I was able to properly affect the canopy with a little effort.

Overall the quality of the Chicco C6 Stroller is very high. The aluminum frame seemed quite sturdy. The fabric used in the stroller and canopy was quite thick and durable. The mesh storage basket under the stroller seat was a bit thin. But, even though he was small, he was always likely to carry a lot of weight.

The rest of the parts—the stitching, the handle, the zipper, and the latch—were all very good quality considering the price point of the stroller.

Features

The Chicco C6 Stroller had many features that made it more attractive than standard umbrella strollers.

The mesh storage basket under the stroller seat—although thin—is an extra feature not usually seen in stroller umbrellas. Although it was too narrow to hold much, I could usually fit a light baby jacket, a water bottle in , and one or two small shopping bags are inside it. It was difficult to access, even if he reclined in the stroller seat.

The canopy of the Chicco C6 Stroller is also a feature that is usually absent in umbrella strollers. It’s a lot bigger than you think, and it does a great job of protecting my offspring from the sun’s harmful rays. It can actually be pulled down in front of my baby’s face, which allowed me to adjust the shade in place of the sun. My one complaint is that the canopy usually popped off the frame every time I folded the stroller. I would have preferred if the screen had stayed on the board instead of falling off.

Two other unusual and useful features of the Chicco C6 Stroller are the 5-point harness (most strollers only have a 3-point harness) and the reclining seat. Although some people might think that a 5-point harness is overkill, I found it to be extremely useful. I was able to use the Chicco C6 Stroller when my baby was still very small, thus extending the life of the stroller. The shoulder straps padded straps seemed quite comfortable for my baby. The seat was also comfortable for him to sit on. The seat reclines only slightly – a few inches or so – but it was far enough to allow my child to fall asleep. A zipper mechanism sat on either side of the seat, which struck me as both ingenious and practical.

DONE

I am very happy with the overall performance of the Chiccos C6 Stroller. The stable was easy to handle. In fact, if necessary, I could handle it by hand. It was turned into a small book and was small enough to fit through even crowded stores.

I read reviews of people who had problems “kicking” the wheels of the Chiccos C6 Stroller. This has happened to me a few times, usually if I walk too close to the stroller. However, at my normal level, I had no problems with the wheels kicking. I am below average height and have small feet.

Folding it was a very simple process, although the opening that opened the stroller was a bit too tight for me to loosen with my foot. I used to use my hand to unfold it when I wanted to fold the stroller. But this was of less subtlety. In fact, it made me safe to not accidentally fold the Chicco C6 Stroller when my child was inside.

The balance of the Chicco C6 Stroller was sublime. He often hangs a few shopping bags handles. In the stroller I never felt like I was going backwards.

There was some problem locking the Chicco C6 Stroller and I couldn’t do it with one hand. It is said that it is a very important time. But this was not a problem for me, because I rarely took a stroller around, so it was not necessary for me as a lock. I usually just fold it up and throw it in the back of my SUV without bothering with the luggage. Mommies with smaller vehicles would actually like to close the door, and a little spear can do that.

The Chicco C6 Stroller is not as small as a folded stroller umbrella. It still had some weight, length and width to it. However, it is much smaller than a standard stroller when folded up to suit my needs. It fits easily into the trunk of my spouse’s chair. It only weighs 11 pounds, so I could easily handle it with one hand.

When folded, the cover can get dirty from the wheels. But I found it easy to clean the roof of the world.

There are no cups in the Chicco C6 Stroller, and they don’t require a child carrier. But this is common among umbrella walkers, so I didn’t think it was a defect. (But I did end up buying the holders in the clip-a).

MY RECOMMENDATION

Overall, the Chicco C6 Stroller. It’s much nicer than standard camping umbrellas and has additional useful features. But it is still quite small and light, and very easy to handle. Mommies looking for a better than basic umbrella stroller for a reasonable price may well consider the Chicco C6 Stroller. The only exception would be taller people who might have problems kicking the wheels.
