Although Clean & Obviously trying to sell this as a morning “wake up” type of face wash, I found I much prefer using it in the evening shower before my bed. After reading my review, I think you’ll agree!

I’m not a real tech about beauty products as I usually buy them advertised. I don’t know what’s in it, but you can read all that useful info at http://www.cleanandclear.com. In layman’s terms (aka vivasuzi terms), this scrub is a creamy gel containing lots of exfoliating beads. It is supposed to cleanse and soften your skin while giving you a boost at the same time. The product is usually intended for first thing in the morning, but I’m not a morning person and I really don’t like to “skip”. But I use this product when I pour before bed. What is more convenient is that it takes a little gel and beads to wash off, which is much easier than pumping. I press a little bit of the gel and scrub the bottom of my face and neck, sometimes even my shoulders feel icky with it. When I scrub, it feels like it’s really cleaning my pores. I sit for a while because it feels cool to sit and it makes me relax. It has a slight citrus scent. Washing off takes longer than expected because the gel is thicker.
The Postmath
After everything is washed off, my face immediately feels silky smooth and shiny. I don’t usually have problem skin, but I feel oily after a long day of wearing clothes. This scrub definitely banishes the oily feeling and makes my pores feel like a good bath! I don’t think any minor skin issues will be resolved immediately, but at least I feel cleaner. When I use this product, and I can’t follow up with anything, I can go to bed and still feel pretty good about my skin. But I tend to be careful with any type, because the Morning Burst feeling is temporary and I start to feel oily if I don’t follow up with anything.
Final assessment
I like that there is vitamin C in this facial scrub – it’s always good to have a vitamin! I enjoy the relaxing “break” I feel when using the scrub and it tends to wash away all my worries before bed. I could only give this 4 out of 5 stars because the product takes some work to wash off. The rating is also affected because the clean feeling does not last very long unless I use a product . The price was reasonable at only 6$, which is just less than a lot of people for beauty products . I think that’s a lot for a 4 star item! I’ll continue to use Burst Mane until it’s all gone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again in the future…I’m open to suggestions though.
