Whether you’re religious or not, you’ve probably noticed the signs in front of temples looking down. Some church symbols are inspiring, some are funny, some are really subtle and people think. The following inspirational, witty, funny sayings and declarations were placed on church signs across the country. I noticed others passing through churches, others I found online. A few of these signs almost inspired me to visit these churches.
Do not hate me, pray for me
I noticed this statement on a church sign in Albion, Indiana, and it made me think of a construction worker and a former friend< /i> who had recently used my favor. Subtly, this sign of the church made me think for a few moments, but I confess that I still have a great deal of contempt for this particular man, and the twelve inspirational signs said did not change my mind. I’m sure a sign like this wouldn’t stop a thief or some other lowly person ready to come on a Sunday morning – unless maybe they can pull off their hands gathered in a plate or a preacher talking about money with a sad story.
This is Ch__ch. What is Absent? UR!
That being said, you don’t really want to stop me from visiting. I have seen this particular word once, and it seems to be a favorite of those who have changed the message into church standards. This is not the one if you are looking for something original. Ask!
The Way Some Live, They Must Get ForeverFire Insurance
Although I am a Christian, I do not attend church. This is a clever word, but the message is intended to frighten people to hear it. Is this really a church I would like to attend? I do not think! I do not know about you, but the signs of the church, such as these, will help me to observe them.
Trouble sleeping? We have a conversation. Come, listen!
Subtly said this is rather ridiculous, but I must admit that I have never seen this mass in front of any temple building. A pastor or priest with a real sense of humor would allow this ridiculous sign to be placed on the front lawn. I might actually consider this one!
Certain Truth Decay – Bible Study Daily
This other common opinion is found in the standards of the church, and it is really well advised, but I think this opinion is not at all wise. I heard about tooth decay, but truth decay? Although it’s not a joke, it’s true if you ask me howling!
The sign is broken. Come in for the News!
Well, this is clever, and somewhat ridiculous, but it’s also the most common message found on church signs all over the world. Still, this sign will give some attention, and new arrivals will just come to hear the news.
Don’t wait for the audience to get you back to the church
This news seems to be a different kind of military art to scare, and that some people may stop and think, but I personally feel that humor is better through the gate to the people. The humor is friendly and the art is engaging. Scaring people with fire and brimstone messages isn’t going to get them any better or get their undivided attention.
Have you ever wanted to share a Clever Church Sign message?
In all seriousness, I think that the use of signs can be very powerful in providing thought-provoking messages to those who would otherwise never see them elsewhere, and can bring new people through the doors of all kinds of churches. Church signs, messages, and sayings can be entertaining and very clever, and if you know of any funny, inspirational, or clever church signs, please leave a short comment below, or submit your article to the Associated Content of the People’s Media Society.
